在艺术类课程实施方面，FCG力图通过多样化的学习方式提高学生学习兴趣和课堂效率，将文化艺术渗透进孩子的日常学习生活中，提高学生审美素养、培养创新意识、促进全面发展。

本学年，艺术类课程详细内容如下：

孩子们将通过系统的舞蹈动作指导和练习，培养孩子的协调性和柔韧性，培养对舞蹈的理解和感知。

Through systematic dance movement instruction and practice, children’s coordination and flexibility, understanding and perception of dance can be well cultivated.

此外，我们还有单独开设的芭蕾课。 

FCG的芭蕾舞课程将遵循四个E的表演艺术价值观：Expression表达,Education教育,Encouragement鼓励, Enjoyment享受。

芭蕾课将古典芭蕾和现代芭蕾相结合，在鼓励学生们表达自我的同时，进行专业的芭蕾舞基本功训练，包括核心能力和肌肉素质，手臂和步伐训练，柔韧度训练，手脚尖等小集群动作训练以及现代芭蕾成品舞等。老师将提供坚持芭蕾舞拓展课的学生参加考级的机会和“袋鼠杯”国际舞蹈大赛的参赛资格。

Fettes ballet enrichment will follow the performance art values of 4E: Expression, Education, Encouragement and Enjoyment. The course combines classical ballet and modern ballet skills. Teacher will provide students who insist on the ballet enrichment class with the opportunity to participate in the qualifications for the International Dance Competition. I look forward to the participation of the little ballerinas!

在器乐拓展课中，孩子们将学习陶笛和口风琴两种乐器，陶笛音色淳朴自然、空灵，具有极强的“疗愈性”；口风琴兼具有吹奏乐器和键盘乐器的特点，具有独特而优美的音色，不但能独奏、重奏，也能合奏和伴奏。通过两种不同乐器的学习，丰富学生们对乐器的认识，提高艺术审美修养。  

In this enrichment class, we will learn two instruments, the ocarina and the melodica. The sound of the ocarina is simple, natural and ethereal, and has a strong "healing"; the melodica has the characteristics of both a wind instrument and a keyboard instrument. With a unique and beautiful tone, it can not only perform solo, ensemble, but also ensemble and accompaniment. Through the learning of two different musical instruments, students will enrich their understanding of musical instruments and improve their artistic and aesthetic accomplishments.

花艺拓展课将指导学生通过一定技术手法，将花材排列组合或者搭配成不同流派的，适用于不同场景的作品，让观赏者解读与感悟。学生借助于自然界的花草作为修身养性、陶冶情操、美化生活的一种方式。

Thefloriculture enrichment course will guide students to arrange, combine or matchthe flower materials into works of different schools which are suitable fordifferent scenes through certain techniques, so as to enable the viewer tointerpret and understand. Students use flowers and plants of nature as a way toimprove self-cultivation and beautify life.

学生们将参加每周的小提琴、中提琴或大提琴课程，并作为音乐课的延伸，以管弦乐队的形式进行教学。这门课程的重点不仅是学习西方古典乐器，而且还能训练音乐合奏的能力，通过音乐的重复和变化发展精细的运动技能，并获得在众多观众面前表演的信心。 

Students will take part in weekly lessons on either the Violin, Viola or Cello and be taught as an orchestra as an extension of their music lessons.  The focus of the Enrichment is not only to learn a western classical instrument but also gain the benefits of working as part of a musical ensemble, developing fine motor skills through musical repetition and variation and gaining the confidence to perform in front of a large audience.

学习标准的爵士钢琴伴奏，歌曲就像月亮河，优美的旋律可以带我们飞到想去的地方。课程一开始，学生们可以选择一首歌，我们将一起打磨这首歌，从中学会和享受集体思维、团队协作、时间管理和课程标准的爵士(唱歌+钢琴)。

Learning Standards Jazz with a piano accompaniment, songs like Moon River and Fly me to the moon will be the start, the students can choose a song and we all will work on it so the students will learn to enjoy Team-thinking, teamwork, time management and of course Standards Jazz (singing+piano).

合唱是声乐艺术领域中的一种集体歌唱形式。合唱艺术也是声乐艺术的最高表现形式。合唱拓展课程我们将从基本的发声方法与乐理知识出发，学习不同国家不同风格的声乐艺术作品，以阿卡贝拉和乐队伴奏不同形式进行排练，以此提高学生音乐技能，丰富校园生活。

Chorus is a form of collective singing in the field of vocal music art. Chorus art is also the highest form of vocal art. In the Chorus enrichment Course, we will start from the basic vocal method and knowledge of music theory, learn different styles of vocal art works from different countries, and rehearse in different forms of acappella and band accompaniment, so as to improve students' music skills and enrich campus life.

创意美术可以通过趣味的方式让孩子运用所有的美术形式表达自我，从而使儿童拥有开阔的思路和主动思考的能力。

Creative art can let children express themselves in all forms of art in a fun way, so that children have an open mind and the ability to think actively.

素描发现并引导有潜能的未来美术专业学生，对学生进行专业美术训练，提高学生审美能力和艺术素养。

Drawing to discover and guide potential future art students, students to carry out professional art training, improve students' aesthetic ability and artistic literacy.

陶艺以陶泥瓷泥为主体，锻炼学生的动手能力和四维空间意识，培养学生的细心、耐心，增强学生的手脑协调性。

Pottery to ceramic mud as the main body, exercise students' hands-on ability and four-dimensional spatial awareness, cultivate students' care, patience, enhance the coordination of students' hands and brains.

课程老师将帮助学生理解戏剧技巧，并向他们介绍表演和戏剧。 

这门课程的目的是培养学生学习英语的技能、理解能力、自信表达、语言学习、团队合作技能等。孩子们将会用自己的身体来传达情感、讲故事、理解戏剧题材和了解戏剧世界。

The course teacher will help the students understand dramatic techniques and give them an introduction to performance and theatre. It’s set to be a fun packed term ahead

The aims of the course are to develop the students’ skills in understanding performance, speaking aloud，studying language and how we use it, working as a team, using our bodies to convey emotion, story telling,  understanding genre, understanding the theatrical world.
