This year ISA Tianhe held three separate Sports Days that allowed the pupils an opportunity to compete against pupils from the different houses. Students were running under the sunshine and enjoyed the joy of sports. In the process of challenging themselves and overcoming difficulties, they not only honed their strong will, but at the same time strengthened their self-confidence and teamwork ability, and truly experienced the spirit of sports competition.

今年天河爱莎学校举办了三场运动会，让校内不同学院的学生一起竞赛。学生们在蓝天白云下尽情奔跑跳跃，感受着温暖的阳光，享受运动的快乐。在挑战自我、克服困难的过程中，他们不仅磨练了坚强的意志，同时增强了自信心和团体协作能力，真正体会到了体育竞技的精神。

The focus for EY1 and EY2 pupils was on trying one’s best and having fun. The pupils competed in an obstacle course, egg and spoon, sack race, throwing a bean bag into hoops and a running race.

对小小班和小班学生而言，运动会旨在让孩子们收获体育竞赛的快乐，激发他们对运动的兴趣。他们的比赛项目是障碍赛、勺子传蛋、麻袋赛、投豆袋和跑步比赛。

For the EY3 and EY4 the focus was on teamwork, excellence and participation. Pupils had an opportunity to take part in eight events. The events were organized and managed by our amazing students from Year 5 who showed excellent communication skills and patience to the pupils who were taking part. The events were the obstacle race, sprint, throwing the bean bag in the hoop, crossing the river, building the highest tower, sack race, water relay and the all-time classic egg and spoon. In all these races pupils competed with enthusiasm and a smile on their face. All pupils had a fun morning and left knowing that they had tried their very hardest.

中班和大班学生们参加运动会的重点则是培养其团队合作精神以及对卓越的追求。比赛项目包括障碍赛、短跑、投豆袋、过河、建高塔、麻袋赛、接力赛和最经典的勺子传蛋，每位学生都有机会体验各个项目。

The events were organized and managed by our amazing students from Year 5 who showed excellent communication skills and patience to the pupils who were taking part. The students are fully engaged. In addition to enjoying the joy of sports, they also make many new friends through team cooperation.

这些趣味纷呈的活动由我们优秀的五年级学生们主导策划，他们在本次运动会上展示了出色的沟通技巧和耐心。学生们全情投入，除了享受运动的快乐，也通过团队合作的比赛项目结交了很多新的朋友。

In our Primary Sports day, it was decided to change the format and have two sports days in one. The Year 1 and 2 pupils competed in seven age-appropriate events that were designed to encourage teamwork, communication, excellence and determination. The Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 students also had 7 seven events. The focus of the day was to show excellence and to display Olympic values whilst competing. Pupils were awarded place positions in 3 of the events and medals were awarded to the top three sprinters in each class. Olympic values were rewarded with points that went towards the house totals and contributed to the top performers in each class receiving medals. Medals were also awarded to individual pupils who had demonstrated friendship, courage, determination and inspiration throughout the morning. 

小学运动会上，我们为学生们准备了七项适龄的体育活动，他们在其中 3 个项目中获得了名次，每个班级的前三名“短跑运动员”都获得了奖牌。举办运动会的目的不仅追求卓越的成绩，体育精神的培养更是尤为重要。因此我们也为在运动会上表现出友谊、勇气、决心和灵感的学生们颁发了奖牌。除此之外，在运动会上展现了强大奥林匹克精神的学生也获得了积分，这些积分将计入他们所属学院的总分中。

The morning finished with a friendly but competitive tug of war for the pupils. The parents rose to the occasion and took part in the tug of war with the teachers.

在运动会的尾声，学生们进行了一场激烈的友谊拔河赛，家长们也积极参与到活动中，与老师们进行了精彩的拔河比赛。
