香港大学（英语：The University of Hong Kong，缩写：HKU），简称港大，是香港的一所公立研究型大学，大学本部位于香港岛中西区龙虎山。其成立于1911年，并于1912年3月11日正式办学，是香港最早建立的高等教育机构，成立之初，更是英国在东亚殖民地成立的唯一一间大学。香港大学是香港最顶尖的大学之一，现时属于“QS世界百强大学”及“泰晤士高等教育世界百强大学”。该校自创校以来一直采用英文为主要教学语言，现在共有十所学术学院，作为跨学术领域的综合大学，其以法律学、社会学、哲学、国际关系、新闻学、社会科学、政治学、文学及教育学等见长。
《QS世界大学排名》（2021）及独立的地区性《QS亚洲大学排名》（2022）中分别将港大位列第22及第二，在是次大学排名中，香港有六所大学入围，常统称为“三大”的港大、科大、中大成功入选前五十，理大、城大入选前一百，《泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名》（2022）港大、中大成功入选前五十，科大、理大入选前一百，而香港大学为两个榜单取得最高排名的香港高等学府，港大名次较前提升三名，在两岸三地仅落后于北京清华大学（第17名）位居第二。《泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名》（2020）及其附属的《世界声誉排名》（2016）分别将港大列为第35及39位。《美国新闻与报导》的2014年环球大学排名中，港大亦位列第42位，2020年则为第100位。上海排名顾问机构发表的《世界大学学术排名》（2019）将港大评为世界第101 – 150位之间。大中华地区的《中国校友会网排名》（2016）给予此大学七星（最高等级）的评级[45]及《港澳台学科专业排名》榜首之位。[46]根据此调查，其在过去的数年内，为中国内地状元赴港就学的首选。另外，香港大学亦是最受香港中学文凭考试状元青睐的学府。
The University of Hong Kong, founded in 1911, is the oldest tertiary institution in Hong Kong. It was granted a shield and a motto by the College of Arms in 1913, and throughout its history the University's visual identity has been firmly based on their display, often coupled the University's name. This is a distinction that resonates outside Hong Kong, particularly in the United Kingdom, other Commonwealth jurisdictions, and the United States. It is also a reminder of the University's antiquity, and a most dignified and effective corporate identity.
Admission to HKU is highly competitive. In 2016, the university received around 40,000 applications for undergraduate studies, over 16,000 of which were from outside the Hong Kong schools' system. For Mainland China applicants, the enrollment rate was 1 student for every 21 applications. According to a survey done by the Education18.com (The Hong Kong Education Net), HKU enrolled students with the best performance in HKDSE examination in 2012.[56] Internationally, applicants with more than 5 A*s in their GCE A-Levels, 75/75 in the Taiwan GSAT, 45/45 in IB, and 16 5** Zhuangyuan (狀元) (the top Gaokao scoring students in their province or city in mainland China) are amongst those matriculated into the University.

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (abbreviated as HKUST) is a public research university in Clear Water Bay Peninsula, New Territories, Hong Kong. Founded in 1991 by the British Hong Kong Government, it was the territory's third institution to be granted university status.
HKUST is commonly regarded as one of the fastest growing universities in the world. In 2019, the university was ranked seventh in Asia by QS and third by The Times, and around top 40 internationally. It was ranked 27th in the world and second in Hong Kong by QS 2021. It also ranked first in Times Higher Education Young University Rankings in 2019 and second by QS world's under-50 universities in 2020.
Today, the university consists of four main academic schools, offering programmes in science, engineering, business and management, humanities and social science, along with the Interdisciplinary Programmes Office, HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School / Guangzhou HKUST Fok Ying Tung Research Institute, HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study and HKUST Institute for Public Policy.

Monash University is a public research university based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Named for prominent World War I general Sir John Monash, it was founded in 1958 and is the second oldest university in the state. The university has a number of campuses, four of which are in Victoria (Clayton, Caulfield, Peninsula, and Parkville), and one in Malaysia. Monash also has a research and teaching centre in Prato, Italy, a graduate research school in Mumbai, India and a graduate school in Suzhou, China. Monash University courses are also delivered at other locations, including South Africa.
