Learning Beyond the Classroom 无边界学习 | 让成长不止于课堂

When developing the leading ISA Science City programmes for children, it is always very important to recognize that every student has their own learning style. For some, they eagerly devour content and information from books and enjoy absorbing facts shared through a series of teacher-provided resources. For others, they learn better by exploring on their own, using the guiding questions outlined in class to direct their self-discovery.

As educators, what we do know for all students is that learning is deepened and best understood by doing. In this sense, students can take fundamental knowledge and concepts, to then develop skills and critical thinking, through a range of different contexts. 

作为教育工作者的我们都有一点共识,那就是:学习是通过实践进行深化和理解的。在这一共识指导的基础上,学生可以通过接触无穷丰富的学习素材,掌握基本的知识和概念,从而发展个人技能和批判性思维。



At ISA Science City, we ensure that we extend what we do in class, with the programmes provided beyond the classroom. This extension outside the classroom includes field trips, camps, tours, sports, arts and co-curricular activities. In providing so many different ways for learning to occur, we ensure that every child is provided with the opportunity to deepen their understanding in a way which best suits their learning style. 

在爱莎科学城学校,我们致力打造“无边界学习”的育人环境,确保学生的学习不再局限于课堂中,而是同时延伸至课堂之外。这种课堂外的延伸包括向学生提供实地探究、夏令营、游学、课后体育、艺术和辅助课程:除正课外,学生在课间和课后均有着丰富多样发展其个性能力的选择,这种“一人一课表”的教学模式能够最大限度地令每一位学生,均以最适配其个人学习风格的方式加深对所学知识的理解,并获得能力的进一步发展。



In the 2021-2022 academic year, our team of highly committed staff have provided 284 different sports and CCA across nine different session times every week. This programme is connected to the learning within the classroom, aligned to our four pillars of academics, sports, arts and community service. 

本学年(2021-2022学年),学校在每周的九个不同时段,共计向学生提供284节课外体育与辅助课程。课外体育项目与辅助课程不仅与学生的课堂学习息息相关,更是与学校四大支柱(学术、体育、艺术和社区服务)的全人教育理念相一致。




By focusing upon the whole child, guided through what and how we do things in class and outside the classroom, the students of ISA Science City are best positioned to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.

通过把全人教育的理念贯彻到我们在课堂内外的教学,学校便能够更好地帮助学生在收获基础知识与技能的同时,加深对周围世界的认识和理解。
