孩子对于语言（中文、英文、粤语、韩语、日语等）的读写能力，指的是他们能够将阅读作为一种强大工具，用以更多地了解我们的生活和世界。它是探索语言、数学、科学和历史等学科领域的必经之路；也是学生在学习和未来的工作中取得成功、融入以知识为核心的全球化社会的基础。

作为内地首家倡导“两文三语”教学的国际学校，也是全国首家港澳子弟学校，广州暨大港澳子弟学校对于如何将英语教学和国际教育元素有机融合进幼小初高的整体课程教学当中，学校拥有丰富的实践经验。

为方便家长进一步了解学校，我校开放线下一对一到校参观、咨询，约您亲身体验校园课堂，感受校园氛围。您可约定在周一到周日9：00-17：00的任意时间段来探校。

入校防控要求：

• 家长请出示48小时核酸证明，当日更新的穗康码、粤康码、行程码等信息；

• 近14天有本土病例城市、广东省外返穗人员及其他中高风险地区人员按照广州市疫情防控措施要求处置，符合条件后，提供相应的证明预约探校。

线上考试将于4月16日同步举行，分为线上笔试、线上面试两个部分（腾讯会议，请提前下载软件或APP），已成功报名本场次的请留意线上考试安排。

1. 因报考人数较多，我们将分为上下午场：初中、高中场（上午9：00-12：30）；幼儿园、小学场（下午14:00-17:00）。

2. 所有考生在家中使用电脑、手机和网络进行考试和监考，无需到校。

3. 线上笔试和面试的具体相关工作安排和注意事项，我们会通过电子邮件通知家长，同时我们招生老师也会一对一详细告知家长，敬请查阅。

4. 未成功报名本场次的同学，欢迎加入4月30日举办的场次。我校采取先考先录、额满即止的录取方式。基于当前报名热度，在此期盼有意报读和尚未确定活动日期的学生尽快完成报名，避免后期出现因学位不足或无活动安排而无法录取的状况。

The charm of language makes us learn more ways to communicate with people from all over the world.  The meeting with topic "Together we travel the world with multiple languages" on April 16th will have in-depth communication with you regarding how to promote our children’s growth and development.

Children’s literacy in language (Chinese, English, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, etc.) refers to their capability to use reading as a powerful tool to learn more about our lives and the real world. It is the gateway to exploring subjects like language, math, science and history, etc. Meanwhile, it also serves as the foundation for students to succeed in their future study and work, and to integrate into the global knowledge-focused society as well.

As the first international school in the Chinese mainland advocating “Two Subjects by Three Languages”, ASJ has rich practical experience in integrating English teaching and international education into the curriculum teaching throughout kindergarten, junior and senior high schools. 

Based on Hong Kong version of English textbooks and the mainland version of Chinese textbooks, ASJ integrates IB international education so as to meet the needs of students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan regions and for students from foreign countries in terms of their diversified language cultivation. All of these depend on the qualified and experienced team for English teaching and also attribute to the consistent exploration and specific practice for the development of ASJ’s “Two Subjects by Three Languages” by the team for Chinese and second language teaching.

In order to facilitate parents to get more information about ASJ, we provide one-on-one visits service. 

The available visiting time is from 9:00 am to 17:00 pm every day. Parents who intend to visit our school can make appointments with our admission staff in advance.

Prevention and control requirements for visiting the school:

• Parents are required to present a 48-hour nucleic acid test result; Suikang Code, Yuekang Code and Travel Code updated on that day;

  
  

• Parents who have been in the city with local cases of COVID-19, persons who returned to Guangzhou from other provinces and persons who have been living in the medium-risk and high-risk places should firstly follow Guangzhou’s pandemic prevention and control requirements and then are allowed to make an appointment to visit our school after providing relevant documents.

Enrolment examinations will be held on April 6 via Wemeet APP (please download Wemeet APP in advance) and the examination is divided into two parts: an online written test and an online interview. 

1. To handle a large number of applications, we have prepared two sessions of examinations. Students at the right age enrolling junior high school and senior high school will attend the morning session (9:00-12:30), while students at the right age enrolling kindergarten and primary school will attend the afternoon session (14:00-17:00). 

2. As onsite examinations are canceled, all candidates can use computers or mobile phones to take part in the exams at home and they will be monitored. Please verify the internet connectivity before the exam. 

3. We will inform parents of the specific arrangements and precautions related to the online enrolment examinations and interviews by e-mail, and our admissions officers will also inform every participant directly. Please have a check. 

4. The students who have not yet signed up for the enrolment examinations on April 6th are encouraged to scan the code to sign up for the next enrolment examinations. Seats are limited and will be assigned in order of applications until full. Given the current enthusiasm for applications, students who intend to sign up and those who haven’t decided on the participation date should complete the applications as soon as possible by scanning the above QR codes, in case they fail to get the offer due to the insufficient seats or the limited activities.
