ISA Liwan is set up by ISAIEG with an investment of 180 million USD, planning to open ISA Wenhua Liwan School and ISA Liwan International School with independent property rights. The two schools (under construction) are closely adjacent and independent of each other, providing students from multicultural backgrounds with an environment and platform for more frequent and more integrated exchanges with each other. In the process of gathering students from both schools, students can have a deeper understanding of the similarities, differences, and connotations of multiculturalism, so as to achieve a true sense of multicultural integration.

ISA Liwan is one of the important projects of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of education released by the Liwan District Government of Guangzhou in early September, 2021. While providing high-level international education which is in line with the world, ISA Liwan gives full play to its local advantages and integrates Liwan’s thousand-year-old Lingnan cultural characteristics into international education to build an international school with Lingnan characteristics.

ISA Liwan will make full use of the educational teaching resources and practice base of Lingnan culture, allowing students to stimulate their interest in learning through personal interactive experience and learning, and gain understanding and experience that cannot be obtained from videos or books.

ISA Liwan also plans to integrate Liwan-related calligraphy, painting and other literary elements into the development of co-curriculum in the manner of immersion education, offering Cantonese opera, Cantonese sculpture and Cantonese embroidery. It is also an endeavour to base our education on home culture in the national and global context.

ISA Liwan uses the International Baccalaureate (IB) as the curriculum framework, combining the best curriculum standards and teaching practices from all over the world, supplemented by a wide range of enriching co-curricular activities, achieving a combination of Chinese and Western elements. ISA Liwan has been audited by the International Baccalaureate Organization and has been approved as an official IBDP candidate school.

We will fully emphasize on personalized teaching. We implement "small-size class teaching of 20-24 students" and personalised schedule. During the progression stage, we provide IB / A Level / AP / Arts and other university pathways for students to choose, customizing the entrance to the world's top universities. To this end, ISA Liwan has set up a professional college counseling centre, including career planning, mental health, SEN personalized education, and college admissions guidance, etc., to help each family plan their children's growth path together.

ISA Liwan campus design comes after setting the curriculum. Guided by the IB’s holistic education philosophy by keeping the learners needs at the centre of designing the campus, our campus is certified for construction by the world’s most stringent American WELL standards while combining science and technology into its academic spaces.

In ISA Liwan, modern facilities such as 800-people international auditorium, professional "Black Box" theater, Olympic-standard football field, swimming pool, STEAM Science Centre, and open library are all available to students, fully realizing educating students with architecture.

In the 90-acre modern international campus, there is also a “Lingnan Garden”. Students studying in ISA Liwan seem to be in a large-scale Lingnan characteristic landscape. They can fully relax physically and mentally during the their learning.
