 童心向未来 

On 1st of June, we celebrated International Children’s Day at ISA Tianhe! This was a special occasion when all our children spent a happy and meaningful day with their friends and teachers among laughter and surprise.

6月1日，一年一度的爱莎天河学校国际儿童节庆典欢乐落幕。在充满惊喜的片片欢声笑语中，小朋友们度过了一个愉快且有意义的儿童节。

In any country, children are the future and hope. This year, the ISA Tianhe International Children's Day Celebration took ‘Building the Future’ as the theme, and combined the celebration with charity. On this day, we had a variety of activities, such as a talent show, dress-up, charity market, post office and food carnival. 

无论在哪个国家，儿童是未来、是希望。今年爱莎天河学校国际儿童节庆典以“童心向未来”为活动主题，将庆典与公益相结合。在这一天，我们开展了才艺表演、未来职业角色装扮、慈善义卖、时光邮局和美食大狂欢等一系列丰富多彩且紧扣主题的活动。校园里洋溢着无限的生机与欢乐。

Life is colorful, and so is work . What are the children’s dream jobs in the future? During the day, children gave their answers and they dressed up according to the job they would like to have in the future. There were astronauts, doctors, chefs, artists, policemen, pilots and ballerinas. They expressed themselves in costumes, and people from all walks of life gathered on campus to make the school a colorful community.

人生百味，五彩斑斓，职业也是如此。孩子们憧憬的未来职业是什么呢？这一天，孩子们根据自己未来想要从事的职业进行角色装扮。校园里有小小宇航员、医生、厨师、艺术家、警察、飞行员和芭蕾舞演员等等。他们用服装表达自己，来自“各行各业的人士”齐聚校园，构成了一个多姿多彩的社区。

Under the IB philosophy, we are committed to providing holistic education for students and cultivate them to be balanced talents so that they can express themselves confidently in words and in other ways. On Children's Day, children expressed themselves with their own unique talents such as singing, dancing, magic show and musical instruments playing. It’s not only a showcase of talent, but also an exercise in courage and confidence.

IB体系倡导全人教育。在IB理念的指导下，我们希望学生可以保持全面发展（Balanced），可以用语言或其他方式自信且有个性地表达自己。儿童节当天，孩子们用歌声、舞蹈、魔术、乐器演奏等属于自己的独特才艺表达自己。这不仅是才艺的展示，更是勇气与信心的锻炼，活力与未来梦想的绽放。

As we all know, the aim of International Children's Day is to protect children's rights, advocate caring for children and improve their lives. On this special day, the children of ISA Tianhe organized a charity market, raising money to help others and build their dreams. For the charity market, we kept using the idea of ‘buddy’. Each Early Years class was paired with a Primary class and jointly organized their own booths to sell second-hand things and raise money for the charity . Through joint efforts, the children raised a total of 7947.7 yuan, and all the proceeds from the event will be donated to ISA Charity Fund.

众所周知，国际儿童节的成立是为了保障儿童的权利，倡导爱护儿童、改善儿童生活。在这个特殊的日子里，爱莎天河学校的孩子们组织了慈善义卖活动，用行动帮助他人，筑梦你我他。在这次的慈善义卖活动中，我们延续了“伙伴”的理念，小学的班级和幼儿园的班级相互组成“伙伴”共同组织自己的慈善义卖展位。通过共同努力，孩子们一共筹得7947.7元，活动所得善款将全部捐给爱莎公益基金。
