Following the "double reduction" policy of education in 2021, the new curriculum standard will be implemented in the fall of 2022, with nearly 200 pages of documents, and parents are anxious about the change. Under the new curriculum standard, the proportion of different subjects, sports, arts and  languages has increased greatly, and the training and selection of talents is no longer limited to the examination channel, which is a good trend for children, but parents do face  a lot of chances and challenges.

Academic success is no longer the ultimate goal of education. we need to help our children develop more abilities to cope with rapidly changing social development, such as culture agility, time management, emotion management, creativity, leadership, communication abilities, self-awareness, etc..

There are various paths for further education and growth in life, and the choice after the high school entrance examination will be a watershed. ISA Liwan is a K-12 school that integrates Chinese and Western, implements holistic education and provides global perspective for students. ISA Liwan is set up by ISAIEG with independent property rights in Southern China and an investment of 180 million USD, opening a bilingual school and an international school with independant property rights. It's targeting families from Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. 

The two schools are closely adjacent and independent of each other, providing students from multicultural backgrounds with an environment and platform for more frequent and more integrated exchanges with each other. In the process of gathering students from both schools, students can have a deeper understanding of the similarities, differences, and connotations of multiculturalism, so as to achieve a true sense of multicultural integration.

ISA Liwan is one of the important projects of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of education released by the Liwan District Government of Guangzhou in early September, 2021. While providing high-level international education which is in line with the world, ISA Liwan gives full play to its local advantages and integrates Liwan’s thousand-year-old Lingnan cultural characteristics into international education to build an international school with Lingnan characteristics.

ISA Liwan will make full use of the educational teaching resources and practice base of Lingnan culture, allowing students to stimulate their interest in learning through personal interactive experience and learning, and gain understanding and experience that cannot be obtained from videos or books.

ISA Liwan will also integrate Liwan-related calligraphy, painting and other literary elements into the development of co-curriculum in the manner of immersion education, offering Cantonese opera, Cantonese sculpture and Cantonese embroidery. It is also an endeavour to base our education on home culture in the national and global context.

ISA Liwan International School (Under Construction) and ISA Wenhua Liwan School (Under Construction) will provide students with the following courses:
