AIC students have achieved praiseworthy results in the summer round of LAMDA exams. Students from IGCSE2 and DP1 entered exams in solo and duo acting, Shakespeare and public speaking.

All students received either merit or distinction for their work, with three students achieving high distinctions.

Delia Djobo, well known for her performances at AIC, was commended for being “a committed and thoughtful learner” and gained her highest marks in the duologue exam she took with Reige Huang. Meanwhile, the examiner commented on the “sense of joy” Reige brings to his work.

Eddie Lin, who impressed everyone with his performance from A Few Good Men in the school’s recent House of Entertainment performance, was congratulated for his “secure understanding of role and situation”.

Nishi Arachchilage was the first student to take an exam in Public Speaking. The examiner described Nishi as a “passionate and well-informed leaner”.

Sally Li andJoyce Lin took Grade 6 exams in Acting. Their results carry points which are included in the UCAS tariff. That means the points can help with university entry in the UK.
