"Reflective" is one of the 10 aims valued by the IB learner profile, and the official explanation is "Thoughtfully consider the world and our own ideas and experience. We work to understand our strengths and weaknesses in order to support our learning and personal development." 

“懂得反思”是IB十大培养目标之一，官方对此的解读是：“IB学习者够对自己的学习和经历做出缜密的思考。为了有助于自己的学习和个人发展，他们能够评估和了解自己的长处和局限性。”

  Me Time 留白时光

However, the aim is not only expected and required of students but also requires teachers to develop the habit of reflection. When teachers show reflection, this is the best model for the children to follow. ISA Liwan not only provides a wealth of teaching resources for teachers to gain professional development but also gives them time for self-reflection and relaxation, which is "Me Time".

然而，这样的培养目标不仅只是对学生的期待与要求，同时也要求老师能够培养反思的习惯。当老师们以身作则，勤于思考，善于反思，这对于孩子们来说就是最好的榜样。爱莎荔湾不仅提供了丰富的教学资源让老师们获得成长，提高自身的专业水平，同时也给予老师们自我反思和放松的时间——“留白”时光。

What is "Me Time" about? "Me Time" is about taking a minimum of one period per week for your own professional learning or professional reflection time. The aim of this time is to focus on one area of interest that could help you in your personal learning and growth. "Me Time" is very meaningful for the teachers, and its purpose is to allow them to focus on deeper learning as well as improving their own teaching and learning.

对于爱莎荔湾的老师们来说，留白时光是指每周至少抽出一节课的时间用于自己的专业学习或对自己所负责的课程进行思考。这段留白时光对老师们来说非常有意义，其目的是让他们专注于对自己个人的专业知识进行更深的学习以及提升。

“Me Time" has already started since August this year. During the whole training month, our teacher had at least one hour "Me Time" after the daily training, when they are able to reflect the training content or plan for the next step. 

留白时光早在今年8月一整个月的入职培训就开始了，每天下午培训结束后，老师们都至少有一个小时的留白时光，回顾一天培训的内容，抑或规划后续的工作。

Teachers need to go somewhere quiet where they can focus on something that will not only help themselves but will be used in the classroom as added benefits for our students. Teachers might use the time to research an area of pedagogy or read about insights into the latest teaching methods. It might be to design areas of visible learning in their classrooms, even doing something for their own well-being to keep them mentally and physically fit such as having physical exercises or drinking a cup of coffee. Overall, during this precious time, teachers will benefit a lot from what they have done.

在这段宝贵的时间里，老师们需要去一个安静的地方，以便可以让自己专注于一些不仅能帮助自身，而且能在上课时更好地帮助学生获得成长和进步的学习。老师可以利用这段时间研究教学方法，或者阅读关于最新教学方法的书籍和资料，比如说他们如何更好地布置课室内的教具，甚至只是单纯地喝一杯咖啡亦或者是锻炼身体，让自己的身心得到全面的放松。总而言之，在这段时间，老师们都能够从自己所做的事情中得到全面而深刻的收获。
