We are very happy to see our children back to school again and welcome new families joining us, to embark their new journey in a new semester. Back to School Night was held in ISA Tianhe International School of Guangzhou on Thursday, February 23rd. We invited all the parents, members of school leadership team and teachers to meet and communicate with each other in a relaxed and comfortable way.

新学期伊始，我们踏上了一段崭新的旅程。我们很高兴再次见到孩子们返校，也欢迎新家庭加入爱莎天河这个温暖的大家庭。为了增强爱莎社区成员们之间的沟通，爱莎天河学校于2月23日（周四）举办了本学期的“返校之夜”活动。返校之夜以轻松的社交聚会形式让爱莎天河全体家长们，与老师们齐聚爱莎天河学校，互相认识和交流。

The theme of this Back to School Night was Friends, which was a classic sitcom from the United States. It told the story of several young people living in New York who have known each other for 10 years and become each other's best friends. ISA Tianhe is trying its best to build a friendly and warm atmosphere so that every ISA member can be friends in the community.

本次返校之夜的主题为“Friends（老友记）”。《老友记》是一部来自美国的经典情景喜剧，讲述的是几个居住在纽约的年轻人在10年间相处相知的故事，成为彼此最好的朋友。我们希望在爱莎天河，社区成员之间都像朋友一样，营造一个友好温馨的社区氛围。

At ISA Tianhe, we attach great importance to home-school communication, which aims to build a positive learning environment for children. Back to School Night is more like an open house where parents meet with the teachers and faculty. Through the event, parents understood more about the class, expectations and curriculum. It helped ensure that parents and teachers are on the same page when it comes to the children’s best interest, and build a solid foundation of communication which is essential for a smooth school year.

在爱莎天河，我们注重家校沟通，目的是为孩子们建立一个积极的学习环境，以及是有效学习的关键。返校之夜更像是一个校园开放日，家长可以走进校园，与教师和学校领导团队沟通。通过此活动，家长可以了解孩子所在的班级、课程和期望。紧密的家校沟通和合作，确保家校理念一致，共同为孩子们的成长和学习保驾护航。

There were the icebreakers to enhance communication between parents and teachers. Parents were able to know other ISA Tianhe members in a harmonious, relaxing, and happy atmosphere. 

本次返校之夜新增了破冰活动环节，消除彼此间的陌生感以及隔阂或阻障，增加参与感，促进参与者之间的交流, 营造和谐、轻松、愉快的社区氛围。
