This transition camp will introduce a new way to the future for our new students. It not only provides abundant courses such as debate classes, global perspectives courses, but also creates a platform for new students to communicate and interact with each other. During the camp, students will make new friends and establish friendships. They will support and encourage each other, preparing for academic and social challenges in the upcoming school year.

During the campus tour, we walked together through the buildings, enjoying the Lingnan architecture and features of ISA Liwan. The campus tour allowed the new students to gain a better understanding of the school's structure and environment, providing them with further insight into their upcoming learning activities and school events. Their eyes shimmered with longing for the unknown world, filled with joy and anticipation.
Welcome session was the highlight of the transition camp's opening.

Principal of ISA Science City International School, Paul Bawden, warmly welcomed the new students and parents. According to Principal Paul, this joint transition camp, with the participation of students from both ISA Science City and ISA Liwan, benefits from the management model of ISA Education Group, allowing students from both schools to enjoy diverse resources to the fullest and build bridges of partnership.

Deputy Head of ISA Wenhua Liwan School (International), and Principal of ISA Wenhua Liwan Secondary School (International), Yumei Wang, detailed the transition camp's schedule, the new class system, and the communication between parents and the school. After nowing about the school's comprehensive arrangements, parents felt more assured to entrust their children to the school's care, believing that the children will gain plenty from this transition camp.

Ice-breaking Activity破冰活动
During the ice-breaking activities, new students from different places gathered together, introducing themselves and getting to know one another. They encouraged and supported each other.
在破冰活动中，来自不同地方的新生聚集在一起，介绍自己，互相认识。友情之花在这里缓缓开放，孩子们相互鼓励与支持，彼此成为美丽的风景。
Theme 1: "Though First Meeting, No Regrets in Acquaintance"
活动主题1“虽是初见，不负相逢”
Students were randomly divided into four groups, giving one-minute self-introductions. They looked shy but excited. Bright sunshine casting its glow, responses and laughter twinkled in the air, warming hearts.
学生们随机分为4小组，一分钟的自我介绍，交织着害羞与兴奋。如明媚的阳光洒下，彼此的回答在空中闪烁，温暖心房。
Theme 2: "Appreciation, Resonance in Light and Shadow"
活动主题2:“惺惺相惜，光影共鸣”
Unity among the houses merged into one. The students searched for housemates through puzzles, and after completing them, they displayed their belongingness through school attire, creating scenes of unity and cohesion in the vast sports hall.
学院之间的团结融为一体。孩子们用拼图寻找队友，拼好后用学院服饰彰显归属，一幕幕团结与凝聚在体育馆偌大的空间中绽放。
Theme 3: "Sailing Together,
Hand in Hand through Waves"
Two groups of students jointly faced the 30-meter "crossing the river" challenge. Holding hands and avoiding touching the ground, their spirit of working together achieved a shared success.

In just a few short hours of the camp opening, the students experienced the power of unity and gained deeper friendships.
