在ASJ,我们坚信“每个孩子皆可成才”,始终坚持为学生提供学习新技能,加强体育锻炼,为社区提供志愿服务,为社会的和谐作出贡献的体验。


近日,广州暨大港澳子弟学校(ASJ)通过爱丁堡公爵国际奖的审核,获得了该奖项的认证和授权,该奖项在全球企业和教育院校中均有高度认可。


我校将在2024年9月份正式对全体学生启动爱奖活动。

爱丁堡公爵国际奖(The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award)是一项致力于鼓励和认可全球青少年在社区服务、技能发展、体能锻炼和冒险探险等领域取得成就的国际性奖项计划。该奖项是由英国爱丁堡公爵于1956年创立,旨在激励年轻人挑战自我、发展技能、参与社区服务和体育锻炼,以培养他们的领导力、团队合作和适应能力。

获得爱丁堡公爵国际奖的学员需要完成一系列不同挑战,包括持续进行志愿服务、学习新技能、参与体能锻炼和进行探险旅行等。通过这些挑战,青少年能够发展出坚韧不拔的品质,拓展视野,培养领导力和团队协作能力。


该奖项计划已经在全球范围内得到广泛实施,并被许多国家和地区的学校、青年组织和社区机构所推崇和采用。获得爱丁堡公爵国际奖的学员将因此获得国际认可和荣誉,并在未来的学业和职业发展中受益匪浅。

在爱丁堡公爵国际奖,通过四个科目的综合参与和完成一定的要求,学生将有机会获得爱丁堡公爵奖的认证,展示他们在志愿服务、体育锻炼、技能学习和户外探索方面的成就和发展。


志愿服务:学生通过参与志愿活动,为社区和社会做出积极贡献。这可以包括参加慈善活动、环保项目、社区服务等,培养学生的社会责任感和团队合作能力。


体育锻炼:鼓励学生积极参与体育运动和锻炼,提高身体素质和健康水平。学生可以选择自己喜欢的体育项目或运动方式,如篮球、足球、游泳等,并通过参与比赛或定期锻炼来达到一定的目标。


技能学习:学生通过选择特定的技能学习领域,不断提升自己的技能和专业知识。这可以涵盖各种领域,如音乐、绘画、编程、烹饪等,帮助学生发展创造力和实践能力。


户外探索:鼓励学生在户外环境中开展冒险和探索活动,培养他们的决策能力、领导能力和团队协作精神。这可能包括露营、徒步旅行、导航等,让学生接触大自然并面对挑战。



2024年3月30日-31日,有3名ASJ教师在广州完成了爱丁堡公爵国际奖二级“奖项运营”培训。证书的获取意味着他们业已成为了合格的爱奖导师、户外探索项目的督导员和户外探索项目审核员的资格。

两天的培训充分将理论与实践结合, 让参加者了解爱奖的运作原则, 再在实战与考核环节加以应用。内容包括爱奖的基本原则,AJ的10项要求,ORB的使用,迷你AJ的计划和演练等等。



通过这些培训,ASJ教师们将进一步提升他们的专业知识和技能,为学生们提供更优质的指导和支持,助力他们在学术和个人发展上取得更大的成就。

At ASJ, we believe that "every child can be a success" and we are committed to providing our students with the experience of learning new skills, strengthening their physical fitness, volunteering in the community, and contributing to the harmony of society.


Recently, ASJ was audited by the Duke of Edinburgh's International Awards and received the recognition and authorization of the award, which is highly recognized by corporations and educational institutions around the world.


Our school will officially launch the Love Award in September 2024 for all students.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is an international awards program dedicated to encouraging and recognizing the achievements of young people around the world in the areas of community service, skills development, physical fitness and adventure. Founded in 1956 by the Duke of Edinburgh, the award aims to inspire young people to challenge themselves, develop skills, engage in community service and physical activity in order to develop leadership, teamwork and resilience.


Participants who receive the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award are required to complete a range of different challenges, including ongoing volunteering, learning new skills, engaging in physical fitness exercises and undertaking adventure travel. Through these challenges, young people are able to develop qualities of resilience, broaden their horizons and develop leadership and teamwork skills.


The award program has been implemented globally and is well respected and adopted by schools, youth organizations and community agencies in many countries and regions. Participants who receive the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award will thus be internationally recognized and honored, and will benefit greatly in their future academic and professional development.

At the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, through comprehensive participation in four subjects and completion of certain requirements, students will have the opportunity to be accredited with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, demonstrating their achievements and development in volunteering, physical activity, skills acquisition and outdoor exploration.


Volunteerism: Students make positive contributions to the community and society through participation in volunteer activities. This may include participation in charitable activities, environmental protection projects, community services, etc., to develop students' sense of social responsibility and teamwork skills.


Physical exercise: Students are encouraged to actively participate in sports and exercise to improve their physical fitness and health. Students can choose their favorite sports or exercise, such as basketball, soccer, swimming, etc., and achieve certain goals by participating in competitions or exercising regularly.


SKILL LEARNING: Students continue to improve their skills and expertise by choosing a specific skill learning area. This can cover a variety of areas such as music, painting, programming, cooking, etc. and helps students develop creativity and practical skills.


Outdoor Exploration: students are encouraged to develop their decision-making, leadership and teamwork skills through adventurous and exploratory activities in an outdoor environment. This may include camping, hiking, navigation, etc. to expose students to nature and face challenges.


On March 30-31, 2024, three ASJ teachers completed the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Level 2 "Award Operations" training in Guangzhou. The certificates mean that they are now qualified as Duke of Edinburgh Award Tutors, Outdoor Discovery Program Supervisors and Outdoor Discovery Program Auditors.

The two-day training fully combines theory and practice, allowing participants to understand the operating principles of AJ, and then apply them in the practical and assessment sessions. The content includes the basic principles of AJ, the 10 requirements of AJ, the use of ORB, the mini AJ program and exercises, etc..



Through these trainings, ASJ teachers will further enhance their professional knowledge and skills, provide better guidance and support to students, and help them achieve greater success in their academic and personal development.
