Fairness & Development

On April 19, 2024, I-EP G7 students presented their first inquiry project of the semester at the Show Theater. The theme of this inquiry project is Fairness & Development — Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). Students focused on hot issues or events, and acted as inquirers or advocates, calling for the attention to the caring of special groups in the society through their speeches and presentations. They had many wonderful performances in their presentations and won the applause of the audiences.


2024年4月19日,I-EP七年级的学生在秀丽剧院进行了本学期第一次的探究项目展示。本次探究项目的主题是公平与发展——非营利组织,学生着眼于热点议题,化身实践者或宣传者,通过演讲和展示的方式,号召大家重视对社会特殊群体的关爱。他们在展示中有着众多精彩的表现,赢得了在场观众的阵阵掌声。




In this inquiry projectG7 students were divided into eight groups. The students choosed the topics that they are interested in and learned about different NGOs. They have created concise plans based on the NGOs goals and have taken action to help them realize their vision.

本次探究,全体七年级同学分为了组,学生们选择他们感兴趣的主题,并了解不同的非盈利组织。他们根据非盈利组织的目标制定简明的计划,并采取行动帮助他们实现愿景。

The first group, through a self-created play and street interview action, introduced a global issue that most people are not yet aware of in this showcase — “female menstrual poverty”.

第一组通过自创话剧和街头采访行动,在本次展示中向大家介绍了一个大多数人尚未意识到的全球性问题——“女性月经贫困“。



The second group focused on animals and their well-being, and through their visit to Warm Home, a small animal care center, they taught us the importance of maintaining a strong bond with animals by protecting them.

第二组侧重于动物及其福祉,该组的成员们通过走访小动物关爱基地“温暖之家”,让我们了解到,人们通过保护动物来保持与动物牢固联系的重要性。



The third group gave us a detailed introduction about a non-governmental organization called Greenpeace. Members of this group participate in green actions, thus appealing to people to protect the ecological environment.

The fourth group visited the Bird Biodiversity Museum and the Baiyun Mountain Natural Bird Cage to tell us about the importance of birds and their role on earth, and to call for positive actions for bird conservation.

第四组则通过走访了鸟类生物多样性科普馆和白云山天然大鸟笼,告诉我们鸟类的重要性及其在地球上的作用,呼吁大家为鸟类保护做出积极行动。



The fifth group focused on water conservation. In order to have a better understanding of their chosen theme, this group's children went to the Guangzhou Water Museum to learn more about water conservation and shared what they had learned in their presentation.

第五组侧重于水资源保护为了对所选主题有更全面的了解,孩子们走入广州水博苑学习更多有关水资源保护知识并在展示环节把所学内容分享给了大家




The sixth group members visited the Gaotangshi Primary School as well as conducted a series of interative activities with local students. Through sharing, they told us what educational support is and what the Lighthouse Program is.

第六组同学们走入了高塘石小学,并与当地的学生开展了一系列的交流活动通过分享这个过程,他们告诉我们什么是教育支持,什么是灯塔计划



The theme chosen by the seventh group was Care for the Elderly. The students of this group went to a nursing home to give care and love to the elderly. At the same time, they also recorded and played messages from the elders in their families, conveying a warm atmosphere of caring for old people.

第七组所选的主题为关爱老人,该组的同学们去到了敬老院,把关怀和厚爱送给老人们。同时,他们还录制并播放了同学们家里的长辈寄语,传递出关爱老人的温馨氛围。



The eighth group of students concentrated on the special social group of children of the migrant workers. Through close communication activities, they learned about the difficulties faced by this group and called for social help and support for them.

第八组的同学眼光聚焦于农民工子弟这一特殊社会群体。他们通过近距离的交流活动,了解到这一群体所面临的困难,并呼吁社会的帮助支持。



Through this process of inquiry project, which involved both the theory and action, students demonstrated their understanding of NGOs that promote community equity and development. We hoped that our students will continue to apply this knowledge in their future to actively advocate for social equity & development, and bring more positive impact to the world, allowing more people to have the opportunity to prosper.


通过这个包含理论和行动的探究过程,学生们展示了他们对促进社区公平和发展的非盈利组织的理解。希望同学们能应用好这些知识,在未来继续积极倡导社会公平与发展,为这个世界带去更多积极的影响,让更多拥有发展的机会。
