On June 24, 2020, the Treble Choir Association of the Philippines (TCAP) successfully launched the “Young Voices of the World” through a virtual choral performance, with the motto “Sing as One” in unison with over 300 children and young choral artists from 22 countries as the world fights against the COVID-19 pandemic，sending courage and confidence to everyone.

去年6月，为了共同抗击COVID-19疫情，菲律宾童声合唱协会Treble Choir Association of the Philippines (TCAP)举办了国际性的在线音乐节“世界青年之声”，来自22个不同国家的300多名儿童和青年合唱艺术家团结一致，向世界传递了勇气和信心。

In cooperation with the "East-West Cultural Exchange Association" of Guangzhou International Cooperation Center (GICC), six students from Year 4 and 5 formed the ISA Tianhe children’s Choir, representing China in the Young Voices of the World Festival on July 28th, 2021.

今年，经广州市外事办引荐，广州国际交流合作中心的东西方文化交流协会与广州天河爱莎外籍人员子女学校合作，六名来自爱莎天河学校四年级和五年级的学生，组成合唱团，代表中国参加了2021年7月28日的世界在线音乐节表演。

Before the actual festival, the planned rehearsal periods were curtailed due to the epidemic. In the little time available, students and teachers actively practised during lunchtime and after-school hours in order to give a better final performance. Parents offered their active cooperation and support during their children's preparation for this event. Led by Dr. Victoria Vakulishyna，an expert professor from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music and Mr. Julian Taylor, music teacher of ISA Tianhe, the children put in a week-long practice session and successfully completed their choral recording，which was highly praised by TCAP，the organizer of the festival.

本次音乐节发布前，因疫情的缘故，原定的排练时间被缩减，在不多的时间里，为了让表演有更好的呈现，学生和老师充分利用午间和课后时间积极排练，家长也为排练的开展给予了积极的配合和支持。在星海音乐学院专家教授，Victoria Vakulishyna博士和爱莎天河的音乐老师Julian Taylor的带领下，孩子们投入了为期一周的练习，并顺利完成了合唱的录制，合唱作品得到了音乐节主办方菲律宾童声合唱协会的高度赞扬。

Through this festival, we can see choirs from all over the world expressing themselves in their own ways and witness yet another brilliant, global collaboration from the Young Voices of the World.

本次音乐节表演中，我们可以看到，世界各地的合唱团在用自己的方式来表达自己的想法，见证世界青年之声的又一次辉煌的全球合作。

Choral music is more than a discipline that cultivates exemplary skill and artistry. It is an effective medium that unites people through message and song—harmonizing for hope and solidarity amidst any adversity. All our students received a certificate from the TCAP for donating their valuable time and energy in the “Sing as One” 2021 Festival. We hope that this certificate will bring back fond memories of the event and encourage students to use what they have learned to make a positive impact on the world while enjoying the arts.

合唱不仅仅是一门培养艺术技巧的学科，也是通过信息和歌声将世界团结起来的有效媒介，在逆境中传递着希望和爱。最后，每个学生和老师都得到了由TCAP授予的证书，以感谢他们在2021年的 "Sing As One "音乐节中付出的宝贵时间和精力。我们希望这个证书能唤起孩子们对这次活动的美好回忆, 更是鼓励学生热爱艺术的同时，也可以运用所学，给世界带来积极的影响。
