June 2022 is a milestone month - ISA Science City International School has officially become an IB World School with full IB accreditation. The success of the school in achieving IB Full Process Certification in less than two years since its establishment is due to the consistent high quality of teaching and learning and the dedication of the entire teaching team, which is in turn linked to the rigorous development of the IB curriculum. This is why the role of the IB coordinator is of unparalleled importance to IB schools.

2022年6月，是一个具有里程碑意义的月份——爱莎科学城学校正式成为一所拥有IB全流程认证的国际文凭世界学校。学校自建校起在不到两年时间内便成功获得IB全流程认证，离不开持续稳定的高质量教学开展以及全体教学团队成员的付出，而高质量的教学，又与严谨的IB课程开发密不可分。可以看出：课程的研发与协调，对于学校发展而言起着尤为关键的先导作用，这也是为何IB协调员的角色对于IB学校而言，有着不可比拟的重要意义。

At ISA Science City Primary School, there is a multi-tasking member of the PYP team who is responsible for planning and overseeing every step of the school's PYP programme, and who is involved in every step of the children's development. ...... She is currently Annie Chew, who is currently the Primary Deputy Headteacher and PYP Co-ordinator, has been with the school team since its inception and has been with the school since its inception, and is always on the frontline.

在爱莎科学城小学部，就有这么一位身兼多职的“神仙成员”，学校的每一步PYP教学，都离不开她的规划与监督；孩子们成长的每一步印迹，也有她参与的身影……她就是目前身兼小学副校长及PYP协调员双重职务，同时也是自创校起加入校园团队、陪伴学校从零成长、时刻奋战在教学一线的Annie Chew女士。

Next Thursday evening (29 December) at 19:00, Annie will be presenting an online open day at the school's video studio to give you an insight into the curriculum, teachers and school life at the primary level at ISA Science City.

About Ms. Annie 主讲人介绍

Annie Chew

Deputy Primary Principal

& PYP Coordinator

小学副校长及PYP协调员

Annie is the Deputy Primary Principal and PYP coordinator at ISA Science City International School. She holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instructional Design. Her native country is Malaysia and she is fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, and several dialects, including Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka, and some Russian.

Annie是爱莎科学城学校小学副校长兼PYP协调员。她来自马来西亚，拥有教育课程和教学设计两门专业硕士学位，精通马来语、英语、普通话，了解粤语、福建话和客家话，对俄语也稍有涉略。

Annie is a certified International Baccalaureate Educators (IBEN) school consultant, school visiting team leader, and IB PYP workshop leader.

Annie是一名具备资质的IB PYP研讨会领导者，同时具有访校团队负责人和国际文凭教育者(IBEN)的学校顾问的多重身份。

She began her IB PYP journey at Kazakhstan International School, Almaty, Kazakhstan, 15 years ago. In 2011, she became a PYP Coordinator at a bilingual international school in Beijing. To date, she has successfully assisted three international schools, including ISASC, in obtaining IB PYP authorizations.

15年前，Annie在哈萨克斯坦的一所国际学校开启了她在IB PYP教学领域的旅程。2011年，她在北京一所知名双语学校中担任PYP协调员。至今，包括爱莎科学城学校在内，她已成功协助三所国际学校获得IB PYP认证。

The overall triangular design of the primary school building, combined with glass enclosures and floor-to-ceiling windows, not only creates a sense of openness and permeability, but also maximises the circulation of natural air and the penetration of light. The open plan design of the classrooms maximises the freedom of teachers to arrange areas to allow for flexibility and innovation in teaching and learning. The primary school auditorium on the top floor, with an area of over 300m2, is used on a daily basis for primary school assembly performances, student achievements, parent classes and important primary school ceremonies.

小学教学楼整体设计呈三角形，结合玻璃围栏和落地窗，不仅能够营造开放感与通透感，还能最大程度地有助于自然空气的循环及光线的透入。这种开放式的教室设计，可最大限度帮助教师自由布置各区域，满足教学的灵活性和创新性。位于顶楼的小学礼堂，面积超300㎡，日常用于小学集会表演、学生成果展示、家长课堂以及重要小学典礼等活动的举办。
