在11月5日, DP2学生举办了一场TOK(知识论)展览会,现场热闹非凡,活动也进展得相当顺利。几乎所有DP2的学生都进行了项目展示及演讲,其中包括来自世界不同国家的三名学生也通过视频通话参加了此次展会。此展会为DP2 学生提供了向 AIC 社区展示他们最终评估之一的机会。家长、老师和其他学生参加了问答环节,DP2学生也可以借此机会为他们的展览作品进行诠释。


The DP2 Theory of Knowledge Exhibition went well on 5th November. The DP2 students hosted the presentation, including three international students who joined in via video chat from different countries around the world. This event was an opportunity for the DP2 class to show off one of their important ToK assessments, The ToK Exhibition, to the AIC community. Parents, teachers, and other students participated in the question-and-answer session, as the DP2 class was given the opportunity to share their ideas and their critical thinking skills.






知识论是一门侧重于知识本质的IB课程。在学术课程中,学生学习了各种类型的知识。老师也是将这些知识作为事实本身传授给学生的。然而,学生通常没有机会了解为什么我们所知道的知识是真实的或这些知识是如何创建的。知识论重点关注这些问题,让学生更深入地了解使世界运转的知识。


Theory of Knowledge is an IB course that focuses on the nature of knowledge. In subject courses, students learn many types of knowledge, and they are taught this knowledge as fact. However, students don’t often get the chance to learn why we know that this knowledge is true or how this knowledge was created. Theory of Knowledge focuses on these questions to give students a deeper understanding of the knowledge that makes the world work.

























































这次展览展示了知识论两项最终评估中的一项。展览的目的是让学生用三种不同的物体来阐述他们对知识本质的理解。这些对象可以是任意的,只要该对象能帮助他们回答他们的知识问题。学生展示的物品范围有童年书籍、绘画以及传家宝等等。


The Exhibition is a presentation of one of the students’ two final assessments for Theory of Knowledge. The purpose of the Exhibition is for the students to answer a question about their understanding of the nature of knowledge using three different objects. These objects can be anything the student wants, as long as the object helps them answer their knowledge question. Objects ranged from childhood books to paintings to a family heirloom.







不仅DP2班级能够展示他们在过去一年半里学到的东西,而且AIC社区能够为这些学生提供想法和建议,使他们的展览变得更好。家长和老师都有不同的专业领域,他们向学生提出专业的观点,帮助学生加强论点。


Not only was the DP2 class able to show off what they had learned over the past year and a half, but the AIC community was able to offer ideas and suggestions to the students to make their Exhibition better. Parents and teachers all have different areas of expertise, and this expertise was offered to the students to help strengthen their arguments.




























总体而言,此次展览非常成功。家长和老师能够体验到IB学生学习知识的本质。这是一个具有挑战性的研究课题,展览是展示 DP2 学生对这一课题的掌握的方式之一。这是DP2学生高中生涯的最终项目之一,DP2学生对大家的参与和支持表示衷心的感谢。


Overall, the Exhibition was a great success. Parents and teachers were able to get a taste of what it is like to be an IB student studying the nature of knowledge. This is a challenging topic of study, and the Exhibition is one of the ways in which the DP2’s mastery of this topic is showcased. A big thanks to all parents, teachers, and students in involved. The DP2 class appreciates the interest and participation in one of their final projects of their high school career.
