在寒风凛凛的12月，有四位耀华学⼦不惧寒冷，在海边进⾏了5天4夜的帆船训练。他们是⼴州耀华帆船社的第⼀批社员，这次是帆船社第⼀次开展集体训练。在训练期间，四位⼩伙伴每天早早告别温暖的被窝，穿上刚晾好的防寒服便匆匆赶去⻝堂吃饭，开始每⼀天的训练课程。即使滔天⼤浪，狂⻛肆虐，他们依然在海上⼤笑着、拼搏着，积极完成训练任务。

Love sail, love Sailing! Guangzhou Yew Wah Sailing Club was officially established! During the Christmas holiday, when the freezing wind arrived, four Yew Wah students went sailing training for 5 days at the seaside. They were the first members of guangzhou Yew Wah Sailing Club, and it was the first time for the club to conduct collective training.During the training period, the four partners struggled out of the warm bed every morning, put on the training suit, hurried to the canteen to have breakfast, and began the training. Even if the waves and wind raging, they are still laughing in the sea, fighting with actively and completed the training task.

在为期五天的训练中，四位同学分别进⾏了RS和Topper级别的训练。泽轩、⼦熙和卓⻜的技术较为熟练，所以更多的是进⾏竞赛技巧⽅⾯的训练，三位同学在这次训练中主要攻克了起航、停泊、滚动换舷等训练难点。⾀朗则是熟悉船只及帆船的初级训练，为之后的训练打下牢固的基础。

During the five-day training, four students were trained at RS and Topper levels respectively. William, Max and Freya were more skilled, so they trained more in competition skills. In this training, the three students mainly conquered starting, berthing, rolling to change the side and so on. Laurence is starting the primary training of getting familiar with sailing boats, which builds up a solid foundation for subsequent training.

元旦期间，泽轩和⼦熙参加了由中国帆船帆板运协会主办的“2022年新年杯帆船赛”。在为期三天的激烈⽐赛中，⼦熙同学在第⼆轮⽐赛中取得单场第⼆名的佳绩，总成绩排第⼗名。泽轩同学总成绩排第⼗五名。每⼀次的帆船⽐赛，两位同学都能得到⼀些宝贵的经验，⽐如：在航线的规划以及⼩⻛天的细节处理，当然还有⼼态⽅⾯得到磨练。

After the Christmas camp, William and Max participated in the "2022 New Year's Cup Regatta" hosted by the China Sailing And Windsurfing Association on New Year's Day in 2022. In the three days of fierce competition, Max won the second place in the second round of competition and ranked 10th overall. William ranked 15th in total score. In each sailing race, the two students gained some valuable experience, such as the strategies of choosing the route and the details movement when there is a smaller wind, as well as the training of mentality.

两位同学在之前就有陆陆续续的参加帆船相关的⽐赛，泽轩从2017年在厦⻔的第三届全国帆船⻘少年俱乐部联赛到2022年的新年杯中，他曾荣获过第七届深圳⼤鹏杯RS组别的冠军以及第五届梅沙教育杯的第四名。

Those two students have participated in sailing competitions successively before. From the 3rd National Sailing Junior Club League in Xiamen in 2017 to the New Year cup in 22, William won the champion of RS category in the 7th Shenzhen Dapeng Cup and the fourth place in the 5th Meisha Education Cup.

现在，随着耀华帆船社的成⽴，我相信会有更多同学们加⼊到帆船这个⼤家庭。锻炼身⼼的同时也可以领略到海上独有的⻛格。同时，我们也可以以耀华的名义去参加⽐赛，去为我们的学校争光。帆船社⽬前已经有5位社员，他们分别是有着五年帆船经验王泽轩同学；七年级开始帆船⽣涯的胥⼦熙同学；年龄最⼩、也是唯⼀⼀位⼥⽣的刘卓⻜同学，还有第⼀次参加帆船训练的李⾀朗同学。刚刚，李粤健同学也积极地成为了我们的⼀份⼦，作为⽬前队内唯⼀接触过⼤船的社员，相信在我们学习⼤船时，他将会摇身⼀变成为我们的师⽗，引领着我们乘⻛破浪！

Now, with the establishment of yew Wah Sailing Club, I believe that more students will join the our sailing family. Exercise your body and mind while also enjoying the unique style of the sea. At the same time, we can also take part in the competition in the name of Yew Wah to win glory for our school.

At present, the sailing club has 5 members. They are William, a student with five years sailing experience; Max, who started her sailing career in grade 7; Freya, the youngest and the only girl member , and Laurence, who participated in sailing training for the first time. At the same time, Alex has actively become a member of our team. As the only member of the team who has contacted the big ship, I believe that when we learn the big ship, he will become our master and lead us to ride the wind and waves!

现在，耀华帆船社已经正式成⽴。作为社⻓，我真诚的邀请所有对于帆船感兴趣的同学加⼊到我们的社团，在未来和我们⼀起在海上拼搏，感受帆船的魅⼒。来吧！和我⼀起成为海上的浪将吧！
