The 2023 application cycle has been kicked off! As we are approaching the beginning of the new school year, we would like to introduce the newly adopted college counseling and application system, Cialfo, to help accelerate our college application and counseling process to empower AIC counsellors and students!

学生个人档案能够记录学生的个人信息、申请信息、联系人信息、在校成绩、标化考试成绩以及课外活动列表。这都是在填写大学申请表时所需的必要信息。

所填写的信息越全面，越能够发挥该平台的优势。利用Cialfo的大学匹配度计算器（College Fit Calculator），基于大学的录取标准、过往的历史录取数据，再根据学生情况为ta评估被某所大学录取的可能性。

*大学匹配度计算器（CFC）是一个内置的算法，根据一些热门专业将大学分为"Reach"、"Target "和 "Likely "等类别。该算法考虑了多种因素，其中包括学校成绩、SAT/ACT考试成绩以及学生的课外活动情况。CFC评估功帮助学生整理学校名单，为他们寻找最适合自己的大学。

学生可以随时查阅并更新自己的信息，家长亦可登录自己的Cialfo账号中查看孩子的个人档案信息，了解孩子的在校考试成绩，标化考试，老师与学生的会议记录等，真正做到随时随地关注孩子动态。

Student profile contains information about Personal Information, Application Details, Tests, Extra-curricular Activities, Grades and Contacts.

The more information you provide, the better the platform can serve your needs. Utilizing the College Fit Calculator to calculate the likelihood of a possible acceptance into a university.

*The College Fit Calculator (CFC) is an in-built algorithm that categorizes top US colleges based off a number of popular majors into Reach, Target, Likely categories. The algorithm takes into account a combination of factors, which includes School grades, SAT/ACT test scores, and the student’s Extra Curricular Activities profile. The CFC estimate function serves to only assist the students in sorting out the school list and look for their best-fit colleges.

Students can view and update their information at any time, parents can also login to their parents account to keep track and be informed on students' progress, tasks, college fairs, and more.

通过回答调查问卷，可以让学生开始考虑大学申请时需考虑的各种因素以及个人偏好。并在回答完问题后，Cialfo Preference Fit将根据学生提供的答案提供推荐的大学。

In using Cialfo Preference Fit, the student will start to consider different factors in their college search that they may not have considered before. After answering the questions, Cialfo will provide recommended universities based on the responses provided by the student.

升学指导老师可以在任务模块中为自己的学生创建任务以及待办事项清单，根据学生的进度和情况设定任务。无论需要学生开始考虑选课，还是列出他们最喜欢的5所学校，或是让他们写个人陈述。

学生自己也可以利用任务管理模块给自己创建任务列表。并且每一个任务都可被标注状态，In Progress （正在进行）或者Done（已完成），以便升学指导老师、家长随时了解申请任务的进程。当任务状态发生变化的时候系统会向所有相关人员发送状态更新的通知。

As counselors, you can assign and create tasks for your students based on their progress - whether you need them to start thinking about the courses they'd like to take, to list down their top 5 schools and even having them do their Personal Statements! As a counselor, you may also choose to 'Approve' or change the Status of Tasks by bulk.

Students can create tasks/to-dos for themselves too. They can also update status as “In Progress” or “Done” to keep track of all college application tasks and processes and keep counselors and parents informed. Changes of status will send updates to relevant people.

Cialfo平台上设有初选校单（Long List）、入围校单（Short List）和申请校单（Applying List）里，遵循升学工作的推进步骤。学生可以把心仪的学校依次加入校单，这也极大程度地优化老师、家长和学生之间择校问题的沟通流程，让选校工作可视化！

Research and shortlist 10,000+ colleges from 70+ countries. Enjoy 30+ data fields, scattergrams, and course requirements. Students can find all the information related to campus life, deadlines, QS Ranking school types, tuition and scholarships in a single, well-organized view and can easily add universities to their lists from the profile page

Students can add a College to their Longlist, Shortlist, or Applying List in Cialfo, following the college counseling work process. Once you've found the college, click on the "Add to list" button and you can select which list you would like to add it to. The lists are visible to counselors, parents and students which helps make the communication about college selection easier!

Cialfo还新添加了Resume Building的功能，学生可以通过该功能轻松创建一份个人简历，通过实时预览并提供多种下载格式如word，PDF等方便后续的进一步构建简历。

The Resume Builder allows students to generate a resume in multiple formats based on the information provided in their Cialfo Profile. Not only does this make the resume-writing process much easier, students can also customize their resumes based on their tastes and preferences.

在Cialfo平台上有会议邀约（Meetings）的功能，学生可以直接向升学指导老师发起会议邀约，或者使用收件箱（Inbox）功能发送即时消息。这是为了促进学生的主动性，鼓励让学生主动向老师发起沟通需求，学生可邀约老师讨论申请方向，活动列表，个人文书的方向等。在平台还可以通过共享笔记，对会议内容进行记录以及分享。

升学老师可以通过系统手机短信、电子邮件、广播通知的形式向家长发送消息通知。

Meetings is a great way for you and your students to schedule meetings without the hassle of back and forth emails trying to coordinate times. Students can schedule a meeting with their counsellors or use the Inbox function to send a message. This way, students are encouraged to take the initiative to send a meeting request to meet with counsellors, whether it is to discuss college application in general, activity list, personal statement, etc.

The Notes feature is perfect for post-meeting notes, brainstorming sessions, emailing families about progress, and more! "Email Note" allows counselors to send the note's title, contents, and attachments as an email to the student's guardians or anyone at all.

cDocs (aka Cialfo Documents!) is Cialfo’s answer to supporting students and counselors in tracking and sending documents necessary for their university applications. With integration with Common App and Parchment, students can send application materials directly to applied schools. Students can go to the Recommendations div to submit Letter of Recommendation requests to relevant teachers. Counselors and teachers can upload recommendations and keep track of the progress. This helps simplify the administrative process and save time, allowing students and counsellors to focus more on the important tasks.

Cialfo为特定的大学设有奖学金，且大多数Direct Apply大学可免申请费，如通过Direct Apply申请和管理UCAS可免除申请费。还可以享受VFS提供的学生签证免费申请服务(第一次签证)。
