今年的IBDP世界学校的平均分为31.98分。AIC的平均分为34.36分。

The averaged score of IBDP World School is 31.98 this year, whereas the one of AIC is 34.36. 

AIC今年IBDP全球统考最高分为44分, 已经连续三年最高分在44分。AIC统考成绩多年在42分以上。IBDP全球统考的满分为45分。

AIC's highest score has been above 42 points for many years, with 44 points as the highest for the past three years already. The full score of the IBDP is 45 points.

取得优异成绩，我们的学生有话要说。下面是部分学生分享的想法、经验和感受：

When achieving excellent results, our students would like to share their thoughts, experiences and feelings with our community. Here are some of them.

时间管理绝对是完成作业和准备 IB 大考的关键技能。我管理时间的策略是在老师设定的截止日期之前设定我自己的截止日期。在提交给 IB 的作业方面更是如此。这让我有充足的时间寻求老师的建议以完善我的初稿，并让我在其他新的学习任务出现时能更加灵活安排时间。至于IB大考的准备，我设法在复习期间制定好学习计划并分配好每天特定单元与主题的学习。复习从最不熟悉的部分开始复习并确保自己在大考前把所有的学习内容至少都详细复习一遍。

Time management is definitely a crucial skill in accomplishing assignments and preparing for the final IB exams. My strategy for managing time is to set my own deadlines before the deadlines set by teachers, especially for work submitted to IB. With the time gap between deadlines, I could ask for suggestions to perfect my drafts while being more flexible if any other work pops in. As for the preparation for IB exams, I managed to create a study plan during revision and allocated specific units of different subjects for each day. Starting with the least familiar divs ensures that I can go over the content in detail at least once before the exam.

我觉得在IB学习的核心在于思考。一是思考的深度。比如EE TOK等任务对我来说并不是碎片化时间可以完成的。我最喜欢的是真正深挖一个问题或论点时能进入心流的状态，沉浸在研究本身，而非仅为取得某种分数而学习。二是思考的广度。比如各科IA，如果只从一个角度分析可能不够客观，并且只展开自己初始认同的论点也可能不够全面。这些时候就批判性思维就用得上了。我们同时要融会贯通不同学习任务与学习科目的交叉点。

I regard thinking as the core of studying IB. One aspect is the depth of thinking, such as the EE TOK tasks, which is not something that I can accomplish in fragmentation time. What I enjoy most is that when I really dig into a problem or argument, I can enter the state of mental flow and immerse myself in the research itself instead of only targeting getting a certain score.  Another aspect is the breadth of thinking. For instance, the Evaluation of IA may not be all rounded enough to analyze from only one angle. we could consider the interdivs between different tasks or subjects. Or it may not be objective when one only develop an argument that one initially agree with, this is when critical thinking can come into play.

IB 虽然很辛苦，但它培养了我们独立思考和终身学习的能力。IB 中多项的任务强调了时间的分配的重要性。所以，从小事做起、做好时间管理是必要的。我觉得找到学科中的相似点和共通点，进而选择对应的学习方法是十分重要的。比如说数学、物理这些理科，多做题然后整理归纳错题比只是阅读书本理论要有用。语言学科，如中文和英语，就要注重培养语感，学会分析和评析。而经济和商管就要学会多做笔记。整理复习时拿着精简的笔记比整本书漫无目的地看会更有效。其次，我觉得要好好利用课堂上的时间边听边思考，不懂的知识点要及时寻求解释。这样课后会轻松很多。在学习之余，不要给自己太大压力。我会时不时打打篮球。大汗淋漓后的舒畅更有助于我专注于学习。

Although IB is difficult, it develops our lifelong ability of independent thinking and learning. Completing multiple tasks in IB emphasizes the ability of time management. Therefore, we should allocate our time well even though it is just for small events. Besides, it is essential to connect the similarities between each subject, then choose the appropriate and efficient method of learning. For example, to get high marks in Maths and Physics, solving different questions as many as possible is much more important than just reading the theories in the textbook. And for subjects like Chinese and English, the ability to analyse and evaluate should be activated. Taking notes is suggested for Economics and business management. It is much more efficient to review your notes than read the whole textbook during exam preparation. In addition, in my opinions, we should make full use of the time in classes and think independently while listening to teachers. If you are confused in classes, you should seek for further explanation, which makes your life easier after school. Apart from studying, releasing your stress properly is my advice. As for me, sweating profusely after school made me more focused in the evening study, which is why I formed an hobby of playing basketball. Be firm and focused, I am sure you can make it!

我的 IB 考了 40 分。这对我来说是莫大的荣幸。AIC老师给了我很大的支持，让我能完全听懂课程。受新冠疫情的影响 ，我的 DP 生活变得混乱与疯狂。但是，无论我遇到什么情况，我的老师总能尽心尽力帮助我以致我可以完全融入课堂。我要感谢AIC所有的老师和同学。

I got 40 in my IB, and it is a great honor for me. AIC teachers gave me a lot of support so I can fully understand the lecture. Many messy and crazy days were there during my DP life due to Covid-19. However, in any situation that I had, teachers always tried their best, so I can fully gather in the class. I want to appreciate all my teachers and classmates.

要学好IB，第一，不要拖延。在考试和截止日期之前计划好你的时间很重要。我使用谷歌日历等应用程序来做到这一点。提前完成学习任务总是好的。这样你就有足够的时间进行更改、收集信息与反馈。

第二，平衡。尽管 IB 是一门强化课程，但你不要过度关注它。这一点很重要。大脑和身体经过一天的辛勤工作后，运动是一种很好的放松方式。参加CAS可以锻炼你的领导能力和合作能力。这些能力都是未来需要的。

To learn IB well, the first rule is not to procrastinate. It is important to plan your time well before exams and deadlines. I uses apps such as Google Calendar to do this. It is always good to finish ahead of time, so that you can have sufficient time to make changes and gather feedback.

Second, be balanced. Although IB is an intensive course, it is essential that you do not over-focus on it. Doing sports is a great way to relax after a day of hard work both for your brain and your body. Participating in CAS can also train your leadership and cooperation skills, which will be needed in the future.
