Global perspective is a skill based course with innovative spirit and stimulating learning interest, which combines academic research with real life. It cultivates students' abilities of critical thinking, problem solving, research, communication and cooperation. These abilities are not only essential for students to successfully complete their college studies and be competent for their future careers, but also benefit them for life.


This course is carried out in the way that the current students like to learn, including group activities, seminars, special studies and students' transnational cooperation. The course focuses on developing students' ability to think critically about global issues.


全球视野是一门以技能为基础的课程,具有创新精神和激发学习兴趣,将学术研究与现实生活相结合。它培养学生批判性思维、解决问题、研究、沟通和合作的能力。这些能力不仅是学生成功完成大学学业和胜任未来职业的必要条件,而且对他们的一生都有好处。


本课程以当前学生喜欢学习的方式进行,包括小组活动、研讨会、专题研究和学生的跨国合作。本课程重点培养学生批判性思考全球问题的能力。


The Global Perspectives foundation 1 students, concerned about the importance to talk and reflect on Global Warming, developed a class project with the main objective for the students to apply in real cases the knowledge acquired in class, related to research, research questions, and primary and secondary sources, developing in them the inquirer, open-minded, knowledgeable, thinker, reflective IB learner profile, also to generate awareness in the whole school community how our personal decisions can impact the future of our planet and the next generations.


AIC foundation 1的学生关注、谈论和反思全球暖化的重要性,制定了一个课堂项目,主要目的是让学生将课堂上获得的研究问题、主要和次要来源相关的知识应用于实际案例中,培养他们的探究能力、开阔思维 、渊博知识与思考能力,反映了IB学习者概况,也让整个学校社区意识到我们的个人决定如何影响我们星球和下一代的未来。


The students identified three environmental issues: excess consumption and garbage, deforestation, and water pollution, each group created a research question, and they had to find the answer using different primary and secondary sources. The class was broken down into three groups, each group had to choose one topic, create a research question, and answer it.


学生们确定了三个环境问题:过度消费和垃圾、森林砍伐和水污染。每个小组都提出了一个研究问题,他们必须使用不同的一级和二级来源找到答案。全班分为三组,每组必须选择一个主题,提出一个研究问题,然后回答问题。


Group #1:  they chose the topic “Amazon Forest and deforestation 2020”, the research questions were What are the actions the citizens can do to repair the deforestation in the Brazil Amazon rainforest in the next 10 years?


第一组:他们选择了“2020年亚马逊森林与森林砍伐”这一主题,研究问题是:未来10年,公民可以采取什么行动来修复巴西亚马逊雨林的森林砍伐?


Group # 2: they chose the topic “Ganges River and highly polluted”, the research question was what are the reasons the Ganges River is highly polluted?


第二组:他们选择了“恒河与高污染”这一主题,研究问题是恒河高污染的原因是什么?

Group # 3: they chose the topic “Atacama Desert in Chile and excess of clothes garbage”, the research question was Why are there so many wasted clothes in northern Chile Atacama Desert in 2020?


第三组:他们选择了“智利的阿塔卡马沙漠和过量的衣服垃圾”这一主题,研究问题是:为什么2020年智利北部的阿塔卡马沙漠会有这么多被浪费的衣服?




The students shared with the school community the outcome of their research, doing posters, and warned all the importance of taking this matter seriously and responsibly.


学生们与学校社区分享了他们的研究成果,并把它做成海报,并告诫所有人, 必须认真负责地对待上诉事件的重要性。
