这一次，我们增加了体育校队和表演校队两类校级课程，选拔工作已接近尾声，名单会择期公示。

小学CCA延伸课程包含人文、艺术、科学、技能、思维、手工、体育各大类，丰富多彩，百花齐放，满足学生丰富课余生活、学习各类知识与技能的需求。

学生们在童趣彩泥的课堂里，找寻艺术创作的力量；在中国历史故事的课堂里，感知历史的变迁、文明发展的进程；在思维导图的课堂里，建立系统的知识体系；在戏剧课堂里，思考角色与群体、与社会的关系……

初高中在各类课程的基础上还有多个学生社团，不同爱好的学生都有展示自我的舞台。科技类社团的潜心实验或程序开发，文体类社团的舞台表演和赛场较量，技能类社团的围棋对弈，文化类社团的书画创作和展览。这些社团以爱好为基础，以活动为纽带，学生在社团中沟通、合作，从社团中获得必要的组织管理能力、人际交往能力等实践能力。

ECA课程旨在满足学生技能提升的需求，课程内容涵盖了体育、艺术、竞赛、科技、语言、学术各大类。

· 数学思维永远是STEM课堂的基础，通过趣味AI的教学方式，让学生参与到有趣的思维游戏中，在游戏中开拓思维，完成教学闭环。鼓励学生用数学的方法发现问题、解决问题，对学生思维的广度、深度和创造力进行综合的训练。竞赛式课堂，让主动成为优势。面向年级为1-2年级。

· 国画是中国的传统绘画形式。国画中的形象不同于摄影和油画，是表现性的形象，是个人情感的抒发，是经过概括了的提炼的形象。是现实的升华和内心的表达，学习国画会让孩子学会一种更高的艺术的思维方式。面向年级为3-7年级。

· 建筑设计，工业设计，时尚设计，只有在大学里才有的课程竟然也有！是的，你没有看错，如果你以后希望申请世界顶级的建筑学院或设计学院，千万不要错过学习此类课程的机会！打磨作品集，从来没有“太早”一说。8-12年级的同学都可以看过来~

· AMC系列的全称是American Mathematics Competitions，由美国数学协会举办，是美国最老（1950年开始举办）的和最富盛名的初、高中生数学竞赛。AMC8的目的是帮助学生展示他们的数学技能水平。AMC 8竞赛专项课程将涉及知识点及针对性真题的讲解。面向年级为6-8年级。海归AMC ECA课程要求学生每周必须参加两次密集赛训，专业老师带你“升级打怪”，海归学校官方项目，还再犹豫什么~ (附上AMC老师简历，你还没有心动么？)

· 观点写作与公开演讲课程是一门线上课程，旨在锻炼学生写作和演讲的能力。在国外，无论申请校内奖学金、科研经费、助教兼职，还是寻求校外实习、工作，都离不开在外人面前有自信地、逻辑地去用英文来书面或者口头展示自己的观点。写作和演讲是大脑往外输出信息，学生需要长时间的学习和积累才能有所提高。顺利完成课程的学生将获得HAS（Harvard Student Agencies）颁发的课程证书。此课程面向8-12年级学生开放，有优秀的斯坦福校友Liyi老师带你“畅所欲言“。

At 8:00 p.m. on January 22, the long-awaited CCA and ECA went online again and opened for sign ups.

The new semester, we have come back with a new look. You all may have noticed that we have made the school team established in many areas, from sports to performance arts. The name list will be released ASAP. 

The primary school CCA include the subjects in humanities, art, science, skills, thinking, handcrafting, sports etc. Aiming to enrich the after-school life for PYP students and help them to learn different knowledges and skills.

In the classroom of children's playdough, students  can feel the power of artistic creation; in the classroom of Chinese historical stories, the students can perceive the changes of history and the process of civilization development; in the classroom of mind mapping, the students can establish a systematic knowledge map; in the classroom of drama, the student can analysis the relationship between roles, groups and society

CCAs from middle and high schools have many student clubs based on various courses, so that the students with different talent have a stage to show themselves. It includes experiments or science and technology clubs, stage performance, team sports, skill societies, calligraphy and painting creations. These clubs are self-interest based, students can communicate and cooperate in the club, and obtain the necessary practical abilities such as organizing skills, management, interpersonal skills etc.

ECA course is designed to meet the needs on student s' self-development. We have ECAs from skills, sports, art, competition, science and technology, language, academic and other categories.

· The G1-G2 Mathematical thinking is always the basis of STEM classroom. Through the interesting AI teaching method, students can participate in interesting thinking games, develop their thinking in the games, and complete the teaching closed loop. Encourage students to find and solve problems with mathematical methods, and conduct comprehensive training on the breadth, depth and creativity of students' thinking. Competitive classroom let the initiative become an advantage. 

· The traditional Chinese painting is a traditional form of Chinese painting. The image in traditional Chinese painting is different from that in photography and oil painting. It is an expressive image, an expression of personal feelings, and an image that has been generalized and refined. It is the sublimation of reality and the expression of heart. Learning traditional Chinese painting will make children learn a higher artistic way of thinking. 

· Architectural design, industrial design, fashion design~ do we have these course offered? Yes, you are right. If you want to apply to the world's top architecture school or design school in the future, don't miss out this opportunity to! It's never "too early" to prepare your own artbook. Students in grade 8-12 can apply if you are interested. 

· The full name of AMC series is American mathematics competitions, which is organized by the American Mathematics Association. It is the oldest and most famous mathematics competition for junior and senior high school students in the United States (since 1950). The purpose of AMC8 is to help students demonstrate their level of mathematical skills. AMC 8 competition special course will involve knowledge points and targeted explanation of real problems. Grade 6-8. AMC ECA course requires students to participate in intensive competition training twice a week. Professional teachers will keep you upgraded, the official project of OCAC, so why still waiting? （below please find the resume for AMC teachers）

· Opinion writing and public speaking is an online course designed to improve students' writing and speaking skills. In foreign countries, whether you apply for scholarships, scientific research funds, part-time teaching assistants, or seek internships or jobs outside school, you can't do it without confidently and logically presenting your views in written or oral English. Writing and speaking are brain output information, students need time to learn and accumulate. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a course certificate issued by HAS (Harvard Student Agencies). This course is open to students of grade 8-12, and here you will meet the excellent Stanford alumni Liyi.
