Dear parents:
The Spring Festival Holiday of 2021 Year is coming. To ensure students have a pleasant and meaningful holiday, we would like to inform you of the Spring Festival holiday arrangement and travel advisory.
1. Spring Festival Holiday Arrangement
Our school will finish at noon on Feb 5th, 2021 and lunch will not be provided for students. The Spring Festival Holiday will be from Feb 6th (Saturday), 2021 to Feb 21st (Sunday), 2021, and students will return to school on Monday, Feb 22nd, 2021. Boarding students shall return to school after 19:00 p.m. on Feb 21st,2021.
Please be aware that all students are required to wear school uniform when they return to school. Before the school reopening, please help the student to tidy up his or her appearance and welcome the new year with the best spirit.
2. Holiday Arrangement Advisory
Strengthen parent-child communication. Please encourage your children to have more communication with you during this holiday, in order to inherit the excellent family traditions and culture. Encourage your children to share housework and cultivate their independent living ability.
Cultivate students' time management. Please encourage your children to make reasonable arrangements for break, entertainment, study and sport activities during the holiday. Furthermore, enforce safety education and actively cooperate with Homeroom teacher to submit daily health information. It includes daily body temperature, your residence status, the travel record of student and family or other contact information.
3. Travel Advisory
We strongly suggest you stay at Suzhou for Spring Festival Holiday and do not travel outside Suzhou if unnecessary. You are not allowed to travel overseas nations and regions (including Macao). You are not allowed to travel medium and high-risk areas and cities in China. If you must travel outside Suzhou, you are suggested to know the epidemic situation, prevention, and control requirements of the destination in advance, and report the detailed itinerary (departure date, return date, destination, companions, transportation, etc.) to the Homeroom teacher or School Division. If the student can not return back to school on time due to travelling outside of Suzhou, all responsibilities and consequences will be borne by parents. Currently the COVID-19 situation is changing all the time in mainland of China, it is suggested to plan your travel cautiously and pat attention to the change of medium and high-level areas.
4. The requirements before returning to school
Before returning to school after the winter holiday, our school will re-check the student’s SuKang Code and personal health information as required by the Education Bureau. The SuKang Code and mobile phone itinerary of the parents who live with the students will also be checked and please make preparation in advance. The method for this submission, will be sent to parents by email before the end of the holiday. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
