Hefei Chiway Kindergarten is affiliated with Hefei World Foreign Language School. It is located in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to Hefei Aquarium. It is an international high-end kindergarten with a unique ecological surrounding and pleasant atmosphere.
Hefei Chiway Kindergarten adopts the small-class teaching approach in its 11 classes daily teaching practice. In line with the IB-PYP Early Years pedagogical philosophy, Hefei Chiway Kindergarten aims to promote the holistic development of children, endeavoring to cultivate a new generation of children who are dedicated, eager to explore, civilized, confident, caring for the environment and responsible young global citizens.

Hefei Chiway Kindergarten dwells in a detached purpose-built teaching building. All the classrooms are with big windows facing south, making the classrooms bright and warm.
In addition to the pleasant classrooms, we also have rooms for reading, scientific experiments, art, music and physical education classes.
Our kindergarten is not only equipped with an outdoor playground, but it also enjoys the school’s standard 400-meter circular track sports ground, where the children do their sports such as bicycle or unicycle riding, rock climbing, tire rolling, obstacle jumping and other fun outdoor learning activities.
幼儿园拥有独栋的教学楼，每层楼的教室均朝南，都是阳光教室。走进教室，温暖的阳光洒进来，室内明亮而温馨。
除了宽敞明亮的各年级教室，园所一层还设有阅读、科学小实验、艺术创作、音体等专业教室。
幼儿园不仅配备独立的儿童乐园，还享有学校标准400米环形跑道的运动场。自行车、独轮车、攀岩、滚轮胎、障碍跳跃......都是世外小朋友们日常开展的运动。

IB-PYP Early Years Programme
Hefei Chiway Kindergarten is a bilingual International kindergarten that promotes IB’s beliefs and values and features its basic theme-based IB-PYP exploration courses.
As a bilingual kindergarten, we provide a learning experience for the children, delivered in both Chinese and English, with a set of expectations and procedures. Both Chinese and English are the common languages used for teaching, collaboration, planning, curriculum design and communication. Chinese and foreign teachers work collaboratively to create a bilingual education for every child.
To develop English language skills teachers interact with children individually and in small/whole group sessions to teach targeted language skills through a variety of English teaching resources.
5 Exploration Corners/Areas
The five corners/areas are closely related to the ten values of PYP learning that we want children to embody. They are designed and organized to meet children’s developmental needs and support interest areas that offer multiple opportunities for children to explore, discover and grow. According to the characteristics of children’s ages, each classroom has five corners/areas for children’s exploration activities：the wisdom developing area, the construction area, the artwork area, the performance area and the doll area.
Children find their individual world in these corners/areas. Children at this stage explore themselves instinctively. They explore the differences between them and the outside world, so it is essential that we provide them with intellectual and environmental support. Children’s future innovative and leading abilities originate from the foundation of their early cultivation.
合肥世外幼儿园是一所以IB-PYP（幼儿园阶段）主题探究为基础课程、双语教学的国际化园所。
作为双语幼儿园，我们为孩子们提供中、英文相结合的学习体验，中文和英语都是日常教学、游戏、课程设计和交流的通用语言。中外教师通力合作，为每个孩子创造双语教育。
在促进儿童英语语言能力上，通过外籍教师互动式授课以及各种英语教学资源的使用，提供沉浸式的英语环境。
区角的设计紧密联系PYP学习的十大培养目标，根据儿童年龄特征，每个教室规划有5个探索区角：益智区、建构区、美工区、表演区、娃娃区。不仅尊重了孩子的个体差异与兴趣爱好，也为学习提供丰富多样的场景。
一个区角就是一个孩子的世界。幼儿阶段的孩子本能的需要探索自我、探索自己与外界的区别，提供智力和环境支持就显得尤为重要，孩子未来的创造力、领导力都来源于早期培养的基础。
