A New Model of Holistic Education
ACZS(Kindergarten) believes that developing a child's cultural self-confidence is crucial in order to help him or her be successful in the world of the future. Therefore, the core highlights of the IB Fusion Class are not only limited to the exceptionally rich curriculum activities, but also the cultivation of children's sense of identity and the cultural heritage of their mother tongue, which is one of the reasons why it has received so much attention from the Chinese families.
IB PYP Chinese Exploration
The core curriculum of the IB Fusion Class follows the framework of the IB PYP curriculum and is based on six super-disciplinary themes that are closely related to life. Children are guided to use the methodology of Asking Questions - Thinking Questions - Solving Problems - Extending Problems to develop the ability to apply knowledge to solve practical problems from an early age.
Exploring Lingnan and Cantonese Culture
The Cantonese language and Lingnan culture are the treasures of Chinese traditional culture, and the IB Fusion Class is rich in folk customs, Cantonese rhymes and garden parties. Through the Cantonese language immersion environment and the children's favourite games and exploration methods, children can experience, enjoy and identify with traditional culture, as well as foster a deep sense of Chinese cultural heritage and national identity.
Little Creators STEAM Workshop
The cultivation of technological literacy is always a concern for ACZS. The Kindergarten IB Fusion Class will use an interdisciplinary teaching model to integrate integrated learning of subjects such as astronomy, geography and chemistry into daily exploration activities. The class will integrate integrated learning from all disciplines such as astronomy, geography and chemistry into daily exploration activities, children will be encouraged to explore the world through playful, interactive experimental activities that lead to learning through play.
Bridging Courses for Empowerment
As a value-added programme to the IB Fusion Class, the development of the "Kindergarten to Primary" stage aims to promote the holistic development of the child by adding two major areas of enrichment, including literacy and logical thinking, to the regular classroom, continuing to pave the way and empower the child from Primary to Secondary, thus supporting the transition to different stages of learning and growth.

We have invited a number of leading agricultural and livestock companies as quality partners, and hired a professional nutrition team to revise the recipes on a weekly basis. Through precise calculation of dietary nutrition and accurate control of the growth characteristics of children, we will work together to create a healthy experience for children with "less oil and salt, controlled sugar and limited fat, and diversified nutrition".
Mr. Alan Wang, of EVA Architects and former chief designer (education projects) of Perkins-Will, a world-renowned architectural firm, is an Australian and British Royal Certified Architect who served as the chief designer for our school. The design was created to be like it’s own micro-city, to encourage socialisation, creativity, and inclusion all within the Ardingly College Zhongshan campus. Our school spaces serve to empower our students with the core value of using spaces as a platform to enhance global leadership and global competencies.
