崭新的晨光，迎来了全新的开始。2019年8月12日，上海莱克顿学校迎来了报道日。生活与学生关爱总监张老师表达了对新同学的欢迎并为大家解答了寄宿方面的相关问题。之后，寄宿部员工及教学部老师都等在宿舍门口，迎接着远道而来的学生及家长，引导他们顺利入宿。晚饭过后，一场撕名牌破冰游戏拉近了学生们彼此的距离。

为了帮助学生们迈好入学第一步，莱克顿学校开学第一课是从黄山脚下乡村成长营的历练开始的。从听知青讲历史到茶园务农；从溯溪探险到山野徒步；从篝火晚会到帐篷露营，每一段经历都是那么新鲜，每一个磕碰都是成长的印记。

短短的五天时间，成为了孩子们人生中精彩的片段，使他们品尝到从苦到甜的真正滋味，让他们懂得了世界上没有完成不了的任务，没有战胜不了的困难，只有在苦难中磨练才能取得成就，才能迈向成功！

相信这是一个好的开始，会是在莱克顿大家庭富有收获的一年。

Orientation day was held Lucton school Shanghai on August 12th, 2019. Ms. Zhang, Head of the Boarding & Pastoral Care, delivered a welcome speech, which introduced Lucton boarding houses and answered questions from new students. And then, students began to move their luggage into the room, all houseparents and housekeepers came to the house to help and guide them. After supper, the boarding team organized ice breaker activities that helped to integrate new students quickly into the Lucton family.

The first lesson of Lucton begins with the field trip of Huangshan personal improvement camp. Under the leadership of teachers, the students experienced the rural culture of east Huangshan. They also took part in camping, river trekking and hiking. These new experiences allow them to improve themselves, whether physically or mentally. We believe that this is a good start and it will be a fantastic year for the Lucton family.
