篮球是一项注重团队合作和竞技性的体育活动。当同学们在进行篮球运动的时候，他们的自信心也能够得到锻炼。并且，通过运动，也能帮助同学们的身体变得更加健康，这也是我们建立这一社团的初衷。通过建立社团，并一起进行活动，我相信我们能在今年建立更深厚的友谊，精进篮球技术。通过训练，我也相信，我们能够在未来拥有和他校进行比赛的能力，同时为校争光。

我作为队⻓会监督并鼓励队员们认真训练，我也非常荣幸有经验丰富的教练带领并指导我 们训练篮球技能。同时，我会维护队内和谐，并且确保每个人都能在今年留下美好的回忆。我和社团经理会定期和Allen老师讨论社团的训练进度并组织一些与外校的友谊赛。

Basketball is a sport that emphasizes teamwork and competitiveness. When students are playing basketball, their self-confidence can also be exercised. And, through sports, can also help students become more healthy body. That's why we started this club.

By building communities and doing activities together. I believe we can build a deeper friendship and improve our basketball skills this year. Through training, I also believe that we can have the ability to play friendly matches with other schools in the future and win honour for the school.

台球是我最喜欢的运动之一，这是我建立台球社的原因。我拥有三年打台球的经验，所以我非常自信可以教会我的社员如何打台球。我们的学校是一所国际学校，台球也是世界热门的运动之一。因此，我认为学会打台球是一种很好的社交方式，它可以帮你打开在国际上与新朋友交流的大门。台球同时可以锻炼我们手部的肌肉与站立姿态。除此之外，台球有多种玩法，例如8号台球，斯诺克和轮换台球。在结束了一周的学习后，同学们可以通过这种方式休息和放松。

我计划帮助我的社员去学习如何正确的握杆和击打白球，之后，我会教他们如何准确的击打白球以及如何能让彩球准确的进洞。当他们学会这些基本操作，我们会开始打对抗赛。如果我的社员有参加比赛的需求，我会帮助他们训练。

Playing billiards is one of my favourite sports, that’s why I started the billiards club. I have a 3-year experience of playing it, so I am confident that I can teach my club members. Our school is an international school, and the billiards is the one of famous sports in the world. So, billiards is best way to make international friends when the we go to the world. Playing billiards can also exercise our hand muscles and correct posture. Except that, there are many ways of playing, such as snooker billiards, No.8 billiard and alternate billiards. Students can relax in different way after one-week study.

I plan my club members to learn how to hold a rod and hand rack at first. Then, I will teach them how to hit a white ball with a pole and hit the coloured ball into the hole correctly. When they know these basic skills, we started to play against with each other. If my club member has a need to compete, I will help him train.

成立这个社团的目的主要是让那些对粤语感兴趣，并想了解粤语的人对粤语有一个基本的了解。让他们在轻松，无压力的环境中学习新东西。我将设计一些他们可能从未接触过的新知识，这也可以拓宽他们的视野。

我设计的课程包括学习一些基础的粤语知识，例如：粤语的音调、粤语特有的字、粤语的语法和粤语的俗语。我可能也会准备一些粤语题材的电影或者是片段给他们赏析，这可以让他们更加了解最地道的粤语文化。

The purpose of setting up this student club is mainly to let those who are interested in Cantonese and want to know more about Cantonese have a basic understanding of Cantonese. Let them learn something new in a relaxed, no pressure environment. I will design some new knowledge that they may never have contact with, which can open up their horizons.

The courses I designed include learning some basic knowledge of Cantonese, such as the tone of Cantonese, the grammar of Cantonese, the grammar of Cantonese, and the idioms of Cantonese. I may also prepare some Cantonese-themed movies or fragments for them to watch, which can let them understand the most authentic Cantonese culture.

我喜欢玩卡牌类游戏并且很擅长教别人怎么去玩。曾参加过多场“万智牌”大赛，并在2016年WPN赛事上获得了全球64强的认证。

我成立这个社团的目的是为了帮助同学们在繁重的学习后得到放松，通过卡牌游戏帮助他们学习如何用不同的方法去解决问题，进行团队合作等。

对于想要进行合作游戏的成员我会提供多样的桌游，对于成员有规则不明白的情况我也会尽可能去讲解。社团里的每一个人都会投入游戏中，而不是在一边无所事事。作为社长，我希望社团成员在社团活动期间不要使用除了音响以外的任何电子设备。

I love playing cards and good at teaching others how to play. Has participated in many competitions of ‘Magic the Gathering’ and got ranking 64th certification in 2016 WPN.

The purpose of setting up this club is to help students relax after heavy study, to help them learn how to solve problems in different ways through card games, teamwork, etc.

I will provide a variety of table games for members who want to play cooperative games, and I will try my best to explain the situations where members do not understand the rules. Everyone in the club will be involved in the game instead of doing nothing. As the club leader, I hope that members of the club will not use any electronic equipment other than audio during the activities of the club.

我们社团的主要目的就是给热爱国画和书法的同学提供一个可以在校学习和练习的平台。在每周的社团活动时间，我们会合理进行安排，以半实践半理论的方法，让社员们的学习高效化。国画和书法都是我国的传统文化，在科技高速发展的现在，人们往往会忘了关注我们自己的传统文化，所以我们觉得可以通过开展这个社团来丰富我们在这一方面缺失的知识和认识。

这学期，我们的俱乐部将重点关注绘画技巧和手法，也就是说，我们将在这个学期结束的时候展示我们的成果。同时，在上学期工作的基础上，我们还会继续看一些其他的纪录片来支持我们的绘画学习。我们的目标不仅仅是学习如何绘画，更要把实践和理论结合起来，让大家对它有一个更好的认识。下学期我们将计划举办一次画展，向学生和老师展示我们的画。我们的目标是通过这学期的时间创建一个积极和欢乐的俱乐部。

The main purpose of our club is to provide a platform for students who love Chinese painting and calligraphy to study and practice in school. Within one and half hours of each week, we will make reasonable arrangements to increase the learning efficiency of students in both practical and theoretical way. Chinese painting and calligraphy are the traditional culture of our country. With the rapid developments of science and technology, people tend to forget to pay attention to our own traditional culture.

This term, our club will focus on the drawing techniques and skills, that is, we will draw several outcomes at the end of this semester. Also, based on last term’s work, we will also continue watching several other documentaries to support our art study. We aim to not only learn how to paint, but also to combine the practice and theory together to let members to have a better recognition about it. We will plan an art exhibition to present our paintings to students and teachers next term. Our goal is to create a positive and joyous club and time through this term.

由我成立的舞蹈社受到了很多女生的喜欢和肯定。我们社团活动为了能迎合现在同学们对舞蹈风格和歌曲的爱好，韩舞和街舞我会教得多一些。目的主要是为了帮助大家发泄学习压力。动作幅度更大也能更好的锻炼身体并保持身材。成立这个社团更重要的目的是通过学习和表演中国舞蹈，把中国传统文化带到每个人的眼前。我希望大家能够重视自己国家的文化，不忘初心。这也应证了上海莱克顿学校的教学宗旨：延续英国传统、秉持中国初心、拓宽国际视野。

这学期，每节课会以一个短小的编舞作为热身。预计目标我会给大家教学4支不同风格的编舞并排练，准备在圣诞节的校园晚会上表演。学期结束后，我希望每个社员都能学到一定程度的舞蹈技巧并熟练运用，在身体的协调性，爆发力和柔韧度上能够有所提高。

The dance club founded by me was liked and recognized by many girls. In order to cater for the current students' interest in dance styles and songs, I will teach more Korean dance and hip-hop dance. The main purpose is to help everyone to vent their study pressure. Bigger movements can also help us exercise more and stay in shape. The most important purpose of the club is to bring Chinese traditional culture to everyone's eyes by learning and performing Chinese dance. I hope you can attach importance to the culture of our own country and never forget your original intention. This is another example of the teaching purpose of Lucton School Shanghai, British ways, Chinese heart, international minds, international minds.

This semester, each class will warm up with a short choreography. I'm going to teach you four different styles of choreography and rehearse them for the Christmas party on campus. After the end of the semester, I hope that every member can get a certain degree of dance skills and skilfully use them, so as to improve their physical coordination, explosive power and flexibility.

成立这个社团的初衷是为了给喜欢戏剧的同学们创造一个空间，在这个社团可以一起讨论欣赏戏剧，也为喜欢表演的同学创造了一个平台。同时表演也可以增强英语口语能力以及表演能力，对日常校园生活也很有帮助。我们也将练习自己写作剧本。

在社团活动的前期，我们将就演出什么戏进行讨论，如果必要的话也将一起编写剧本。在剧本决定、完成后我们就将进入排练阶段，争取在圣诞节晚会上能够演一出戏。

The purpose of setting up this student-club is to create a space for students that likes drama. In this club we can discuss and watching drama and musicals together and also create a platform for the ones who is into performing. Performing and acting is also really helpful for daily school life, from performing we can develop English speaking skill and performing skill. In the future we are also going to learn how to write a script.

In the early stage of our club exercise we are going to have a discussion on what kinds of drama we are going to perform, we may write our own script if necessary. After this we will get start into rehearsing, our goal is to act on the school Christmas event.

一部非凡的影视作品不单单只局限于叙事。在《肖申克的救赎》、《教父》、《低俗小说》、《活着》、《霸王别姬》等这一系列出类拔萃的影视作品中，它们给观众带来的还有灵魂的共鸣与震撼，这也是为什么有的人会说欣赏悲剧是净化心灵的一个过程。优秀的影视制作者应该带给观众的，或是悲天悯人的情怀，或是雅操高贵的情怀，或是雅俗共赏的幽默，因此影视才会推动人类社会的发展。

我想带给大家的，我想和大家分享的，也无非是这样了。我自己也并不了解也尚未熟知如何去做好一部影片或是评价一部影片。所以与其说这是一个社团，更不如说是一场影视爱好者在一起互相交流、学习、鉴赏的狂欢盛典。

Film is a project with those unique, charming and glaring features. Different from sports, video games, or science, it has a highly inclusivity and it could be a carrier, retrospection，reminder and recorder for individuals, businesses, societies, countries and even the civilization of human beings. Prominent works, from movies, TV shows and documentaries, had become microcosms of the historical long river of mankind culture, and had combined the pictures, texts and physiological senses together, rather than just let them exist independently and separately. Those things together enable film to become the most animated and profound recording method.

A transcendent film work shouldn’t just stick in telling a story. Those serious of extraordinary movies like The Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Lifetimes Living, Farewell My Concubine etc. are able to make the audience the overwhelming by the magic of filming. That’s the reason why some people say that, it’s a process of purifying one’s soul by watching tragedies. Outstanding filmmakers should offer a compassionate and gorgeous feelings or the humour that appeal to all. That’s how the films advance the development of human beings.

That’s all I wish to share and talk about. Honestly, I am a layman and not able to manipulate filmmaking or to criticize films. It’s more than just a club. It’s a grand festival for all the film lovers to communicate, learn, and enjoy.

本社团会以阅读以及电影欣赏为主要活动。在这个社团，活动会偏向于放松以及文学作品欣赏，希望以这种形式来唤起大家对于阅读的兴趣，并能够受益终生。我们在之前的学期里已经组织了数次成功的社团活动，也有一些产出。因此我也相信在这个学期，我们能够更好地享受阅读，舒缓情绪。身体上的锻炼固然不可或缺，但阅读时精神和心灵的成长相信也能让人受益良多。

与上学期不同，本学期社团将更加地注重于专门类别的书籍阅读与电影欣赏，这个主题将会每学期更换，以确保社团成员们能够有良好的阅读体验。

The Genius club will be focus in reading and watching movies as our main activities. In this student club, some more relaxing activities will also be organized. I hope that could stimulate the interest of club members on reading and be benefited through their life. We’ve already held a few times of successful club activities in the semester, with the production of positive results. Therefore I believe that in this semester we will keep the style and tradition of the club, in order to release stress and enjoy reading. There is no doubt that physical exercises are essential, but the development of spirit and mind when reading should be important as well.

Different from the last semester, Genius Club is going to focus on reading and movie watching of specific topics, and the topics will change in each term, in order to ensure club members a good experience of reading.

前几周的社团课，我将教大家如何使用Mine-imator来制作动画。在成员全部学会怎么使用了之后，我们会分组讨论制作什么类型的动画。在有了计划之后，我们就会开始寻找素材来制作动画。在每节课的最后20分钟，社员可以提出问题和讨论，让大家充分理解从当天活动中学到的技能和知识。考虑到学习和思考是非常累的，最后的20分钟也允许社员休息。

The goal of our club this semester is to let every club member learn how to use min-imator to make animation. Gain knowledge about how to lay out a scene, build a model, place light sources, etc. And work as a group to make a complete animation before the end of the semester. In addition, we will learn how to find materials, plan article, and edit videos.

In the first few weeks of student club, I am going to teach how to use Mine-imator to make animate. After all the members have learned how to use it, we will discuss in groups what kind of animation to make. After we have a plan, we will start to look for materials to make the animation. During the last 20 minutes of each class, members can ask questions and discuss the skills and knowledge gained from the day's activities. Considering that studying and thinking are very tiring, the last 20 minutes are also allowed for club members to take a break.

我从5岁开始学习钢琴至今已经十年，并且于去年学习了为期一年的音乐制作。我对音乐非常有兴趣，我将来也是会走音乐这条艺术道路的。当今社会有很多人都喜欢音乐，它是生活中必不可少的因素，我之所以想开设这样一个社团是希望让更多对音乐感兴趣的同学们能写出属于自己的音乐。我也想帮助大家用音乐排解压力。在这里没有规矩没有要求，你只需要享受音乐，做出你自己觉得好听的歌曲，自己乐在其中就好。这个社团是开放于任何对音乐感兴趣的同学，如果是新手又或者什么乐器也不会都没有关系，我们可以从0开始，一定会给大家带去对音乐的好的体验。我们将运用到ios自带软件GarageBand自己写一些音轨,我们会写自己的音乐或者为电影、故事配背景音乐。这个社团只是想让更多同学享受音乐，写出属于自己的歌曲，放松就好。

这学期，每节课都会教大家运用GarageBand的一些基础技巧。预期目标是每个人在这个学期写出一首用loops完成的16小节歌曲（也可以超过16小节）在充分掌握了GarageBand的基础运用后我们会在下学期做一些电影故事配乐之类的，更丰富有趣的活动。在学期结束后，我希望每个社员能够更加热爱音乐，真正享受做自己的音乐，也会灵活运用软件在空闲时间自己写歌。

It has been ten years since I began to learn piano at the age of five, and I studied music production for one-year last year. I am very interested in music, and I will study music as my main subject in the future. Nowadays, many people like music, which is an indispensable factor in life. The reason why I set up such a club is to let more students who are interested in music write their own music. I also want to help people use music to relieve stress. There are no rules and no requirements here, you just have to enjoy the music and make the songs that you think are good to listen to and enjoy yourself. This club is open to all students who are interested in music. It doesn't matter if they are new or have not learn any musical Instruments. We will start from 0, and we will certainly bring you a good experience of music. We're going to use GarageBand to write some tracks by ourselves. We would write our own music or set music for a movie or a story. This club just wants more students to enjoy music, write their own songs and relax.

This semester, you will be taught some basic GarageBand skills in each class. The goal is to have one 16 bars song in loops (or more than 16 bars) in this term by each member. After fully mastering the basic application of GarageBand, we will do some more interesting activities movie story music. At the end of the semester, I hope that every member can love music more, truly enjoy only doing their own music, and can use software flexibly to write their own songs in their spare time.
