Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

I’m Rose, from Class Four, Grade Six. It’s my honor to be here----giving a speech to you. My topic is ----Chinese food.

大家好，我是六（4）班的甘琳琳。很高兴在这里为大家演讲。我演讲的主题是——中国菜。

As a Chinese, I am so proud and lucky. I can try many kinds of delicious food and snacks here.

作为一名中国人，我很自豪也很幸运。我可以品尝到多种多样的小吃美食。

I come from Guangdong. Cantonese food is one of the eight most famous dishes in China. Cantonese food is particular about its ingredients, wide selection of ingredients and delicious taste. Boiled chicken and salt-baked chicken are classic Cantonese dishes. Dim sum is an important snack for Guangdong morning tea.

我来自广东。粤菜是中国八大菜系之一。粤菜尤其注重食材，食材的选择还有味道。白切鸡和盐焗鸡就是经典的粤菜代表。而点心是广东早茶的重要角色。

There are more famous and popular snacks in China besides the Cantonese food, such as Beijing roast duck, steamed buns in Shanghai; hot pot in Sichuan and so on. Welcome to China and you will have a good time. This is my speech. Thank you for your listening.
