In supporting our students to develop connectedness with the world, we provide a comprehensive approach to education that intentionally prepares students to be active and engaged participants in an interconnected world. Key to this is embedding the following into our curriculum:

在支持学生与世界联通，与时俱进的方面，我们为学生提供了一种全面综合的教育方法，帮助学生做好准备，成为积极参与者，加入到当今互联互通的世界中。这里的关键，是将以下内容融入我们的课程教学中：

• Developing citizens of the world in relation to culture, language and learning to live together.

• Building and reinforcing students’ sense of identity and cultural awareness.

• Fostering students’ recognition and development of universal human values.

•  Stimulating curiosity and inquiry in order to foster a spirit of discovery and enjoyment of learning.

•  培养关注文化，语言，学习与生活的世界公民，学会共同生活。

•  建立和增强学生的认同感和文化意识。

•  培养和发展学生对人类普遍价值观的认可。

•  激发好奇心和探索精神，养成享受学习与持续探索的精神。

Learning Without Walls 

跨国界学习

One way in which we do this is through providing students the opportunity to participate one or more days of Learning Without Walls (LWW). This programme is centred around experiences that will support our students to become truly global citizens. Throughout the day students are encouraged to think with an international or global perspective through activities which connect them with different societies and belief systems - helping our students to understand and embrace cultural differences and similarities.

学校将通过为学生提供机会，让学生在一天甚至多天里，参与到跨国界学习项目(LWW) 中。这个项目将带来多元的体验，旨在培养学生成为真正的全球公民。项目将会围绕不同的社会族群和信仰开展，帮助我们的学生理解和接受文化差异和相似之处。同时，我们鼓励学生带着全局观跟国际视野思考。

The Learning Without Walls (LWW) day will take place on Monday 30 November. Your children will be provided with a schedule of the day and this will follow the normal school day timings. Learning objectives for the day link closely to the LEHF Learner Characteristics, which seek to encourage and support the following: Creativity, Craftsmanship, Collaboration, Commitment, Confidence, Curiosity, Communication, Compassion.

跨国界学习项目将于11月30日周一正式开始。您的孩子将会收到当天的日程安排，该安排会与正常的上课时间匹配。跨国界学习的目标与佛山LEH的学习宗旨一样，鼓励并支持学生发展：创造力、技艺、合作能力、责任心、自信心、好奇心、沟通能力、同情心。

This experience will allow your children to gain awareness of issues which transcend national borders. They will learn about different cultures, indigenous peoples, and their environment, building upon students’ cultural awareness and sensitivity.

这一段经历能帮助您的孩子了解到中国以外的世界正在发生什么样的变化。基于学生自身的文化意识和感知力，他们会接触到不同的文化，了解原住民及他们生活的环境。

This year, we will be focusing on the Incas, the indigenous people of Peru. Throughout this insightful journey, students will have the opportunity to explore Incan architecture, art and culture and Incan theories on Mathematics and Science as they relate to Astronomy. Students will work both independently and as part of a team with their peers - strengthening their independent working skills and their ability to work collaboratively.

今年，我们将会将重心放在秘鲁原住民——印加人的文化。通过这一阶段深入而透彻的学习，学生将有机会探索印加人的建筑、艺术、人文，以及涉及天文的数学和科学理论。学生将会通过独立探索、小组学习，加强他们自主学习能力以及团队协作能力。

Virtual Performance of Chinese Song ‘Jasmine Flower’

中文曲目《茉莉花》线上排演

Mr Hobourn, our Director of Music has been busy working on LEHF’s first-ever virtual performance. In it all our students and teachers singing the famous Chinese song ‘Jasmine Flower’ together. we look forward to hearing the students’ performance!

音乐学科主任Hobourn 先生为佛山LEH首次线上演出做了充足的准备。全体学生和教师将会合唱中国著名的歌曲《茉莉花》。我们期待学生们精彩的表现！
