对于Allen来说，周末是他最为忙碌的时候，除了要去深圳与特聘教练进行高尔夫球深度训练外，还常常飞往其他城市，参加各种高尔夫球赛事。

Allen在苏州长大，带着对高尔夫球的热爱、期盼和成为职业高尔夫球选手的梦想，他只身一人来到东莞，由教练负责他的日常高尔夫球训练和生活起居。

与许多其他竞技项目不同，高尔夫球是一项个人运动。打高尔夫球时需要集中全部注意力，缜密、冷静、沉着。来到TWIS后，Allen确定了他的IB学习者属性——成为一个「善于沟通的人」（Communicators）。

Weekends are the busiest time for Allen. In addition to going to Shenzhen for in-depth golf training with his coaches, he often flies to other cities to participate in various golfing events.

Growing up in Suzhou, Allen came to Dongguan alone with his passion, expectation and dream of one day becoming a professional golfer. His coach takes charge of his training, as well as making sure that Allen leads a normal life as a Grade 6 student.

Unlike many other competitive sports, golf is a solitary pursuit. When playing golf, you need to concentrate, you need to concentrate, focus and be calm and meticulous. After learning about the IB learner profile at TWIS, Allen considers that his strongest attribute is being a good communicator.

关于高尔夫球 About Golf

听说你的爸爸也是打高尔夫球的，请问是他教会你打高尔夫球的吗？

I heard that your father also plays golf. Did he teach you to play golf for the first time?

Allen：第一次学高尔夫球是在6岁的时候，是爸爸专门找的教练，当时是在苏州。不是爸爸教的，爸爸虽然也会打高尔夫球，但不是职业的，是业余的。

Allen：The first time I played golf was when I was 6 years old. I was taught by a professional coach but not by my father, who is an amateur in the field of golf. At that time, I was in Suzhou.

从第一次接触高尔夫球，到第一次参加比赛，你花了多长时间？

How long did you wait before you could compete?

Allen：我从7岁的时候开始第一次比赛，之前大概花了一年左右的时间。至今为止，我已经参加了五六十场比赛了。

Allen：I started competing for the first time when I was 7 years old. So it took about a year. So far, I have participated in 50-60 competitions.

为什么你会选择高尔夫球而不是其他运动项目？

Why do you choose golf instead of other sports?

Allen：我很喜欢和享受打高尔夫球。不管有没有拿奖都很开心。但是没有拿奖的时候，我会在日后里练习里反复思考这个问题——怎么样才能打得更精准。

Allen：I enjoy my time playing golf. It's fun whether I win a prize or not. However, when I didn't win the prize, I would think about it again and again in future practice about how to improve my accuracy.

你平常会去哪些城市练球或者参加比赛？

Where have golf tournaments brought you?

Allen：以前去过郑州、上海、佛山、珠海等等，珠三角的高尔夫球比赛比较多。以前在苏州的时候，也是广东这边的比赛比较多，所以一直是坐飞机的状态，大概一个月飞一次。也是因为珠三角的比赛、机会比较多，所以搬过来东莞，气候宜人。

Allen：I have been to Zhengzhou, Shanghai, Foshan, Zhuhai, etc. When I was in Suzhou, there were a lot of competitions in Guangdong, so I was always on the airplane, almost like once a month. It is also because there are more competitions and opportunities in Guangdong, so I moved to Dongguan which a city with great weather.

TWIS生活 Life at TWIS

来到东莞之后，加入东华文泽学校的原因是？

Why did you join TWIS after moving to Dongguan?

Allen：因为我想来学英语，然后未来出国打高尔夫球。TWIS这里是全英文教学，我参与的是EIP课程，一种浸入式的英语环境能让我取得更大的进步。我现在比刚开始进来的时候听懂很多，英语的词汇量也多了。

Allen：I joined TWIS because I want to learn English and play golf abroad in the future. Courses at TWIS are all taught in English except Chinese or French. I participated in the EIP program, which provides an all-English environment for me to improve. I understand a lot more now than when I first came in, and my English vocabulary has grown very fast.

以前你在公办学校上学，你觉得那里的氛围跟TWIS有什么区别？

You used to study at a public school. What do you think is the difference between there and TWIS?

Allen：在TWIS上学很开心，以前上课固定在一个教室，但TWIS的走班制让人感觉很新奇。

Allen：I am very happy to come to TWIS. In the past, classes were fixed in a classroom, but TWIS's Class-Selection system is a refreshing change for me.

在TWIS，你最喜欢上什么科目？

What is your favorite subject at TWIS?

Allen：我最喜欢上科学课，因为可以在实验室里做实验。

Allen：I love Science because there are a lot of opportunities to do experiments in the lab.
