在东华文泽学校就读的学生Tysen和Tegan是一对来自澳大利亚的亲兄妹，他们表示，来到TWIS短短几个月，已经体验上了从未有过的多姿多彩的生活。在此，他们也很兴奋地想把TWIS校园生活的点点滴滴分享给大家。

Tysen and Tegan, a pair of siblings from Australia, are in G8 and G7 at TWIS. They are thrilled to have made the move to TWIS. Here's what they say......

大家好，我是来自8年级的Tysen。今天，我想和你们分享我在东华文泽学校的学习生活。我加入东华文泽学校只有短短的几个月，但已经收获了丰富多彩、令人激动并且富有意义的学习体验。

在TWIS，我参加了许多有趣的活动和课程，认识到了许多卓越的老师，也结交到了很多积极开朗的朋友。我的朋友和老师来自于各个国家，我们的每一堂课都非常愉快，因为每位老师都有自己鲜明的教学风格，让我真正地体验到了国际化的教学氛围，这种氛围让我能够很快地适应并融入学校。

I am a new student at TWIS, I’ve only been here for a few months but my experiences so far are fantastic! I’ve had a good time from many exciting activities, fun and interesting classes, cheerful friends and wonderful teachers and staff.

At this school, I’ve made friends from all over the world, and I also like every class because every teacher has their own personal styles of teaching and we have fun and at the same time learn in class. At this school, you will have an International experience and will also improve your English from teachers and peers.

我非常喜欢的科目是：体育和法语。

My favorite subjects are P.E. and French.

体育 P. E.

在体育课上，我们会有专业的体育老师教我们学习各种运动，比如足球、躲避球，并且我们会有许多创意性的活动。在第一单元，我们被要求设计一款游戏，能使每一位同学都参与其中。设计运动游戏的过程，充分了发挥“好玩”的天性，有助于在同学之间打破僵局，也提高人际交往能力。游戏结束后，我们反思自己的表现，并将游戏存档在“游戏手册”中。

In P.E., we play games that are amusing for all ages and we also do sports like football and dodgeball. In the first unit, every student made a game and we played them in class. We made a game-book containing all the games we played. In the second unit, we learned about football rules and played football. At the end of the game, we reflected on our performance and tried to be good next time.

法语 French

在法语课上，我们学习词汇、语法，并且每周进行小测验。法语老师Sebastien先生总是很活泼开朗，为我们营造一个轻松有趣的学习氛围，所以同学们在课堂上都很活跃。有一次我们去幼儿园教小朋友们法语，为此还精心制作了法语的小小教科书，让他们跟着我们一起阅读和学习。

In French, we learn vocabulary, grammar and we do small quizzes every week. The French teacher, Mr. Sebastien, is always joyful, and everyone is always very active in class. We also went to kindergarten to teach the younger students some French words, and also shared to them a small book we made in class for them to read and learn.

TWIS生活｜ Life at TWIS

我们每一天的下午4点到5点都有课外活动课程（C.A.S.E.）。在TWIS，我们拥有用于科学、设计、艺术、音乐等课程的专业教室和设备，以及体育馆和奥林匹克规模的游泳池等设施。专业的环境与设施丰富了我的学习体验，专业的教学团队、优美的校园环境、齐全的教学设施，也让我充分感受到了学习的乐趣与魅力！

We have a CASE (Creativity, Activity, Service and English) class every afternoon from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m which allow us to choose according to our personal liking or interest. In this school, we have proper facilities for science, design, art, music, a gymnasium and an Olympic-size swimming pool for swimming. I can learn and play with a lot of fun at TWIS.

大家好，我是来自7年级的Tegan。我在TWIS短短几个月的生活让我获益匪浅，今天想跟大家分享我在学校的生活和我觉得感恩的一切。

I am Tegan from Grade 7. I joined TWIS in August. I am going to be talking about things that I have done in the school and what I appreciate.

过去的几周里，我一直在TWIS学习，我学到了许多从未了解过的新知识。

The past few weeks I have been in TWIS, it made me learn a lot of new things that I never knew before.

设计课 Design Class

当我刚来这所学校之前，我甚至不知道什么是设计课，现在它是我最喜欢的课程之一。我很喜欢每个老师总是以个性鲜明的方式教学。过去几周在设计课上，我做了一个水火箭，现在在设计课上做木工，我真的很喜欢设计课，因为我一直想尝试木工这项工作，很有挑战性。我很期待未来能做更多的其他事情。

When I first came to this school, I didn't know what design class was and now it’s one of my favorite classes. I also like how every teacher always teaches in different ways. These are some of the things that I’ve been doing for the past few weeks: I have made a water rocket and we are doing woodworking in design class now, I really like design class because I have always wanted to do wood-working and it’s very challenging. And we do way more other things too.

美术 Art Class

另外一门我喜欢的课是美术课，我们曾试过画壁画，教授我们壁画的是Esteban老师，他是一位来自美国的专业画家。我们现在正在学习字体艺术，很有趣，我非常喜欢美术。

My favorite class is art, we’ve tried painting a mural at the beginning of the year with Mr. Esteban who is a professional muralist in the US. Now we are learning about calligraphy and which I think is very interesting and I have always liked art a lot.

在TWIS，我欣赏这里的老师和同学。因为我是一个今年的新生，当我来到这所学校的时候，我不认识任何人，但我在第一天就交到了新朋友，大家都好优秀，这是我很感谢我们班的地方。

What I appreciate about the school is also the students, when I came to this school I didn’t know anyone but I made friends on the first day and they are really nice so that’s what I really appreciate about our class. And in this school, the teachers always push our limits to make us better which is also worth appreciating.
