上周,东华文泽学校有幸邀请到IB课程资深教育者Ms. Leda担任“小学项目的实践:激发能动性”工作坊的主导人。Ms. Leda拥有超过25年的教育经验,包括前沿的国际学校课程开发和实践经验。


Tungwah Wenzel International School has always set high standards of teaching for our educators. We consistently provide different platforms for our teachers and students to ensure that they have access to best practices and learning, as we are committed to providing high-quality education for our TWIS Community. 


Last week, Tungwah Wenzel International School hosted an International Baccalaureate (IB) in-school workshop on Making the PYP Happen: Implementing Agency led by a highly experienced educator, Ms. Leda. She has over 25 years of educational experience including leading international schools on curriculum development and implementation. 






在为期两天的工作坊中,老师们通过探究式讨论和概念教学获得了许多学习的乐趣。互动性环节不仅提高了教师的知识水平,还增强了他们团队合作能力和创造力。很高兴看到大家享受着讨论IB PYP的框架和实践,主题包括:

  • 国际思维;

  • IB学习者属性、关键概念、学习方法(ATL)、PYP学习与行动方法;

  • 以调整标准为重点的跨学科学习和计划;

  • 评估与反思;

  • 精心设计的学习环境。


In the two-day workshop, the teachers had fun learning through inquiry and concept-based instruction. The interactive sessions not only enhance the teachers’ knowledge but also their ability to work in teams and bring out their creativity. It was great to see the staff enjoying and discussing the IB PYP framework and implementation. Some of the topics of the workshop are: 

  • International Mindedness;

  • IB Learner Profile, Key Concepts, Approaches to Learning and Action in the PYP;

  • Transdisciplinary learning and planning with a focus on aligning the standards;

  • Assessment and Reflection;

  • Well-designed Learning Environment. 






对于所有参与研讨会的教师来说,这是一次很奇妙的学习经历。研讨会接近尾声之时,老师们分享了他们的学习收获。


It was a great learning experience for all the staff and here are some reflections from the workshop participants.


Ms. Laura老师说:“对我来说,这是非常有趣的一次培训。我可以看到课程大纲可以如何被规划,也可以看到不同的观点在交流中碰撞出新的火花。”


Ms. Laura said:" For me, it was very interesting to see how lessons can be planned and see all different kinds of ideas from teachers. The workshop brings new things and perspectives that we didn’t think before.”
