从IB毕业生到IB实习教师,IB教育所赋予的别样体验

Mr. King目前在TWIS担任实习教师。如TWIS的学生一样,他也曾是一名IB学生。2010年,他在吉林省一所国际学校的六年级开始了MYP中学项目学习旅程。在此7年后,他顺利从DP项目毕业,随后被美国普渡大学录取并于今年5月毕业,获得了心理学和运动机能学双学位。如今,他表示很高兴能在TWIS担任实习教师,实践并丰富所学。实习结束后,他将继续回到美国攻读硕士学位。在以下问答中,他与我们分享了从IB课程毕业生到IB学校实习教师的背后故事,并谈及IB教育所赋予他在学习、生活与职业发展过程中的别样体验。

Mr. King is currently an intern at TWIS. Like the students here at TWIS, he was an IB student, as he started his journey as a MYP learner in Grade 6 in Jilin Province in 2010. Seven years later, Mr. King successfully finished the Diploma Programme (DP) and was accepted at Purdue University in the United States, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in both psychology and kinesiology in May 2021. He said he is glad to be here at TWIS for his internship to apply his knowledge and to learn more related knowledge. Later on, he will return to the US to pursue a master's degree. In the following Q&A, King shares the story behind his journey from IB graduate to IB world school intern and talks about the extraordinary experiences that IB education has given to him in his studies, life and career development.
