Lady Eleanor Holles International School Foshan was delighted to welcome Ms Jo Hawley, the British Consul-General Guangzhou, on 26th October.

佛山市霍利斯国际学校很高兴能在10月26日接待英国驻广州总领事贺颂雅女士来访。

Ms Hawley toured the state-of-the-art campus with Head Master, Mr Steve Allen. She enjoyed interacting with students in class and was delighted to see Year 6 students solving design problems. Ms Hawley commented on how well the School had integrated the 300 years history of LEH School, London, and was impressed by our truly holistic British Education. 

在校长安弘博先生的陪同下，贺颂雅女士参观了校园的先进设施，加入LEH的课堂当中，与学生们进行互动。在课堂上，六年级学生运用创意解决设计问题，令她会心一笑。贺颂雅女士高度肯定了佛山霍利斯承继姐妹学校英国伦敦LEH的300多年的卓越教学经验，为学生们带来英式全人教育。

After the school tour, Ms Hawley hosted an assembly session with our students and teachers. With the inspiring examples of her own stories growing up and experiences as a Consul-General and a member of the British Skydiving team, she encouraged students to think about the definition of success and take action to achieve their goals. 

在分享会上，贺颂雅女士给我校师生讲述了她的成长故事，担任总领事的经历以及在英国国家跳伞队训练的体验，分享了她对成功人生的看法，并希望同学们都可以在他们的人生中取得成就。

Ms Hawley wished the future development of LEH Foshan the very best and looked forward to coming back again soon. LEH Foshan appreciates the long-lasting support from Ms Jo Hawley and the British Consulate-General Guangzhou and looks forward to further developing our many mutual ties.
