“停课不停学”,这里有一份TWIS网课和居家健康指南

应上级部门防疫要求,为了更好地保障全体师生的健康与安全,东华文泽学校(TWIS)暂缓了线下教学的活动。然而,“停课不停学”,TWIS迅速进行了授课方式的调整,从3月14日起开始了线上课程的教学。


In compliance with the higher authorities' directives, Tungwah Wenzel International School is temporarily suspending classes on campus. Effective March 14th, TWIS will be holding classes remotely via Microsoft Teams in order to ensure the health and safety of the entire school community.


即使是线上教学,东华文泽学校也一如既往地致力于为学生提供最好的学习体验。我们透过学习管理系统ManageBac和视频会议软件Microsoft Teams等工具让学生和教师参与到虚拟课堂中。线上视频教学按不同班级和科目进行,而老师会预留时间让学生完成作业。


Tungwah Wenzel International School is always committed to delivering the best possible learning experiences to our students... even virtually. We engage students and teachers in a virtual classroom through tools such as ManageBac, our learning management system, and Microsoft Teams, our video conferencing platform. Virtual conferences are held as a class or subject, and students are given time to do the tasks assigned to them.


在沟通方面,TWIS团队尽了最大的努力通过电话、电子邮件、School365和企业微信建立沟通平台为各家庭提供全方位支持。学生或家长对于沟通平台使用和设置上的任何疑问,可以直接联系班主任、助教和IT信息技术团队。


In terms of communication, the TWIS team makes every effort to provide comprehensive support to students and families by establishing communication platforms via phone, email, School365, and WeCom. Students and parents are welcome to contact their teachers, teaching assistants and IT support team if they have any technical difficulties.


为了让大家更好地应对线上授课和居家防疫所带来的挑战,TWIS教学团队和心理咨询师在此为大家准备了一份学生网课指南和居家身心健康知识指南。在一起回到东华文泽学校的那天前,让我们在虚拟教室中相见与联结,在现实生活中保持强健的体魄和愉悦的心情。


In order to prepare our students for the challenges that come with online classes and the questions that may come with confinement, our academic team and school counselors are here to provide some guidelines for the virtual school and tips to stay physical and mental health. Let's meet and connect in the virtual space, stay healthy and prioritize our well-being while waiting to open our doors in our wonderful campus.


#01 安静环境

Quiet Environment 

选择一个安静的环境,坐在电脑前,让自己成为课堂的一部分。把让你分心的物件放到一边,如手机或玩具。

Go to a quiet environment. Sit in front of your computer and be a part of the class. Put distractions away such as phones or toys.


#02 着装整洁

No Pajamas

上网课时保持着装整洁,不出现睡衣、居家服等随意着装。

Always wear a shirt and pants, and no pajamas!  


#03 确保网络稳定

Stable Internet Connection

请保证正常稳定的网络连接,并提前5分钟进入课堂。

Make sure you have a good internet connection. Log in 5 minutes before the class.


#04 检查设备

Check Equipments

检查好摄像头、麦克风和音响是否能正常运作;请尽量使用头戴式或其他耳机。如果你不需要说话,请把麦克风调至静音;如果你需要说话或回答问题,请把麦克风取消静音。

Check your camera, microphone, and speaker if they are working. Use a headset or earphones if you have them. Mute your microphone if you will not speak and unmute if you need to participate.


#05 眼神交流

Make Proper Eye Contact

务必打开电脑摄像头,让教师看到你的完整面部。保持适当的眼神交流,微笑,尊重对方,有礼貌地交谈。

Make sure that you turn on your camera so you can be seen. Your entire face must be visible to your teachers. Make proper eye contact, smile, respect each other and talk politely.


#06 专心上课

Pay Attention to the Class

请认真聆听教师和同学的发言,并积极参与课堂讨论。

Pay attention to your teacher and classmates, and actively participate in discussions.


#07 按时完成作业

Submit Homework on Time

在课程结束后,请及时在Managebac中完成作业并上传提交。如果有不清楚的地方,尤其是与ManageBac有关的问题,请及时向教师提问。

Do your homework and submit them on time in Managebac. Ask questions if something is not clear, especially if it’s about your ManageBac tasks.


#08 适度休息

Make Use of Your Break Wisely

利用课间休息时间,喝点水或吃点东西,让你的眼睛休息一下,舒展身体,作好进入下一节课的准备。

Make use of your break between subjects to get some water or snacks, rest your eyes and stretch.

在疫情期间,保持身心健康至关重要。线上课程的教学保证了知识的接收。然而,人与人之间在物理空间上的分离,或许会带来影响心理健康的挑战。以下分享是来自TWIS心理咨询师的居家身心健康小知识:


The health and safety of everyone is the utmost priority during the pandemic, and online schooling is only the best option during these challenging times. However, we confront at the same time the fact that remote learning can impact one's mental health. Here are some strategies you can follow to protect your well-being from our counselor: 


01

饮食均衡 Keep a Healthy Diet

维持膳食均衡,确保每天摄入足够的卡路里、蛋白质、矿物质、维生素等营养要素。健康的饮食可以提供能量并帮助调节情绪。此外,应尽量避免过度摄入甜食;尽量保持健康规律的一日三餐——早餐、午餐、晚餐,以及课间的少量点心。

Keep a balanced diet by consuming a variety of food that contains enough calories, proteins, minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients. Healthy eating can provide energy and help to regulate emotions. Furthermore, try to avoid overconsumption of sweets. It is better to have three healthy meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner - and light snacks in the morning and afternoon.

保持适当的室内体育活动

Engage in Indoor Physical Activities  

鼓励学生每天进行一小时的体育活动,可以复习体育课上学到的锻炼动作,尽可能多地练习。

One hour of physical activities each day is encouraged. You can do the exercises you have learned in your PE classes and try to move as much as you can.

制定每日计划表  Plan a Timetable of 

Balanced Activities

建议制定一份计划表,涵盖才艺练习、增强幸福感的游戏、家务整理和拓展思维的学习等。遵循一份结构化的时间表可以为你的日常生活带来秩序和条理感。你也会因完成每项计划而取得成就感。 

Create a timetable that is balanced with practicing skills, well-being activities, chores, and intellectual pursuits. Following a structured schedule can bring order and organization to your daily life. Mark off what you have achieved from your plan will give you a sense of accomplishment.

冥想练习 Get Mindfulness Practice

每天花20分钟的时间来放空、冥想,不妨试试Dr. Kimberley O’Brien所提出的冥想方式,如下图。
