CISK has revamped its school Houses system, with them now being called Panda, Elephant, Eagle and Leopard. Students are randomly assigned to each house and each house has a House Captain drawn from grades 11 and 12; and in this way, they can learn how to get along with all kinds of people . Students are awarded merit points for good behaviour and academic performance, and these are collated into House scorres every week. At the end of the year, whichever House has the most points will be awarded the School House Trophy!

This is to encourage students to work together in teams outside their usual friendships and to develop their oraganizational and leadership skills. Throughout the year students will have numerous events and activities that let them do this.

During the last week before the National Day holiday, CISK students enjoyed their annual Spirit Week. This comprises a series of fun activities and games for the whole school from kindergarten to the most senior students, as well as the teachers! Each day saw a different event:

在国庆节假期前的最后一个星期，CISK迎来了一年一度的精神周，在这一周里全校上下组织参与了一系列有趣的活动和游戏:

On Monday, CISKers were encouraged come to school dressed in their House colors.

周一，CISK的师生穿着代表他们学院颜色的衣服来学校。

On Tuesday, it was Crazy Hat & Hair Day, with students coming to school in the most outlandish attire possible.

周二，"疯狂的帽子和头发”日。在这一天，学生们穿着他们最特别、最酷炫、最有趣的服装来学校。

Wednesdaywas “Anything But A Bag” day, where instead of their normal schoolbag, students could use anything：a suitcase, a birdcage, or a towel, etc.

周三，“除了书包以外的任何东西”日。在这一天，学生们可以用任何东西代替他们的正常书包，比如手提箱、鸟笼或毛巾等其他物品。

On Thursday there was a dodgeball tournament, with the houses in primary and secondary schools competing against each other to see which would be the champion. We then had a Teachers Vs. Students dodgeball game which saw the students triumph after a fiercely competitive game!

周四，我们举行了躲避球比赛。小学和中学的学院奋勇争先，争夺冠军。之后，我们又进行了教师与学生的躲避球比赛，经过激烈的竞争，最终学生们取得了胜利！

Then on Thursday afternoon there was a whole-school assembly where the house points for the students participating in the Spirit Week events and dodgeball competition were announced.
