5月6日，我校国际中学部举行了一年一度的英语学科展示，我们MYP的学生向家长、老师和同学展示了他们的英语语言技能。这对于学生来说，是一个绝佳的好机会，可以让他们在课堂之外的环境中使用英语语言技能以获得更多的信心和动力。

今天的展演进行得非常顺利，我们9年级的学生做了非常精彩且内容丰富的演讲，在展示过程中不仅观点明确，并且有足够的证据来支持他们的论点。语言表述清晰，令人印象深刻。

7年级的学生表演了迪士尼的阿拉丁的故事，令人印象深刻。学生们的台词都记得很熟。表演的时候也都把自己扮演的角色都表现得淋漓尽致。

从表演开始，学生以独特的方式使用语言，包括表情和动作，这非常有助于他们的英语语言能力的提升。全场观众都看得津津有味，觉得非常有趣。可以看出他们为这次表演做了充足的准备。

最后，8年级的学生也进行了演讲，其中一组学生表演了一场精彩的戏剧。演讲的同学花了很多时间制作了精彩的PPT，非常吸引听众的眼球，让整个活动更加丰富多彩。

在展示时，他们的所有努力和练习都得到了回报，因为他们口齿伶俐，表达清晰，一切都是值得的。通过一系列内容丰富的演讲使他们对主题有了更多的了解。

总的来说，本次英语展是人们作为一个社区聚在一起并一起享受一个美好下午的好方法。学生将在一天结束后对自己的表现和努力感到满意并且印象深刻，相信现在他们对自己的英语语言技能会更加有信心了。

Today at CBIS was the annual Secondary English Language Exhibition where students got to demonstrate their English language skills to their parents, teachers, and fellow students. It is always a wonderful opportunity for students to gain more confidence and motivation in using their English language skills in an environment that is outside of their classrooms.

Today's exhibition went very well, and it began with two very good and informative presentations from G9 students, who put forward their perspectives on two topics that are important to them. They spoke clearly and articulately, when discussing their topics and explaining why their perspectives are correct and had evidence to support this also. They explained the evidence very clearly for all to hear and the audience was very impressed with their presentations. The presentations were enjoyed by all those watching.

Second, there a very impressive performance of Disney's Aladdin by the G7 students. The students all learnt their lines very well and when acting, they showed the personalities of the characters that they were performing. From undertaking a play, students use the language in a unique way with expressions and movements and this inevitably helps them in their English language development. It was a play that the whole audience thoroughly enjoyed and found very funny. G7 had put a lot of effort in when practicing and it all paid off for making a spectacular performance.

Lastly, G8 students gave a couple of presentations on various topics that were important to them, and one group gave a stellar performance of a play. The students who did presentations all spent a lot of time making wonderful PowerPoint presentations that were very eye catching for the audience, thus making it more informative and exciting. When speaking to the audience, all their effort and practice had paid off and was worth it as they spoke eloquently and clearly. The audience had a series of very informative presentations which have inevitably led them more aware of certain topics.

Overall, it was an excellent afternoon for all to enjoy and the English Exhibition is a great way for people to get together as a community and to enjoy an afternoon together. Students will have finished the day feeling satisfied and impressed with their work and effort and can now feel more confident in their English language skills.
