随着教育愿景的明确,英国阿丁莱学院与中山市弘科未来学校的合作正式开启,我们共同致力于打造一所鼓舞人心且能承载未来学习需求的学府。我们深信当校园落成时,您将会对其发出由衷赞叹,在一流的环境设施承托下所有年龄段的学生们也将逐步实现“具备全球胜任力”的愿景。

而从景观设计细节到建筑内部设置,校园的各个角落都由管理者及设计师灌注了极大用心,它将成为一个能够真正鼓舞人心、支持学生不断蓬勃发展的圣地。在此,我们也向设计与施工团队的辛勤付出致以敬意,正是你们才让阿丁莱的愿景照进现实。

作为教育传承的重要部分,我们欲在建筑设计中融入英国阿丁莱学院最为经典的拱门元素。这是阿丁莱学院核心地带的汇合点,除独特的地理位置,其还承载着过往学生们的合作、沟通与探索。正因如此,我们十分欣喜能在中山市弘科未来学校的校园设计中看到该经典元素以极具中国特色的设计风格得以延续。当您走进学校接待区的霎那或许能明白,真正的高质教育不仅存在于课堂,也能在校园环境与校外研学中得到更丰富的探索。

自双方合作正式开启,我们与中山市弘科未来学校的管理运营团队定期开展会议。其中,最为常见的便是对于课程设计理念的探讨。我们有意在中国义务教育课程的基础上注入英国阿丁莱学院的全人教育理念,其核心在于为每个学生的茁壮成长提供支持。在我们看来,学生关怀体系和全方位的培育在学生的成长旅程中同样重要,它们共同造就了更具备韧性及参与度更高的学习者。

随着IB PYP课程在幼儿园的快速生根,我们也分享了许多EYFS课程体系的知识与心得。两者课程虽略有差异,但却有着极大的重合点与共性。而作为一所能够培养双语学习者的学府,中山市弘科未来学校小学及初中学生在未来将遵循中国义务教育课程,而我们将着重在幼儿园与国际化融合高中方向(筹)提供更多分享。

英国阿丁莱学院所拥有的出色学术成绩,很大程度上得益于一批资深教育者们。因此,在与中山市弘科未来学校的合作过程中,我们的团队成员包括英国阿丁莱学院的校长、教育主任、EAL/小学国际副主任均给予支持。而该支持团队将在来年持续扩大,并涉足更多的领域(我们将在下一期分享中进行解释)。


英国阿丁莱学院的支持团队为中山市弘科未来学校各个方面的筹备工作提供了宝贵支持。其中就包括了先前分享的100多项政策,这极大程度帮助中山市弘科未来学校团队深入了解英国阿丁莱学院是如何提供优质教育的。

如同英国阿丁莱学院一样,未来中山市弘科未来学校的教师们都将在每学年开始前,进行充分的培训,以真正了解英国阿丁莱学院的历史与教学精神。同时,我们也会持续向中山市弘科未来学校提供更丰富的服务,以支持和实现这所学府呈现出最佳的阿丁莱教育。


例如在国际化融合高中方向(筹)的升学指导项目中,当下一学年随着高一学生的加入,我们将为中山市弘科未来学校的教师提供关于申请大学相关的高质培训,以支持学生们能够轻松收获世界顶尖名校的青睐。目前,我们已在紧锣密鼓地开展该项目,也十分期待能在下一学年进行实施。

千里之行始于足下,我们与中山市弘科未来学校已然迈出了不止一步。正因如此,我们也坚信步调一致的双方将有着更加牢固且久远的合作关系。未来,我们期待着与中山市弘科未来学校相互学习交流,共享更多知识奥秘!

Welcome to our 3rd installment of our Ardingly College UK sharing series. In this article you will be able to learn about the effort and support that Ardingly College has shared in supporting ACZS's ideal education through our collaborative goal to work together hand-in-hand to bring a world-class educational provision to Zhongshan and the Greater Bay Area.

The Following information is being shared on behalf of the team at Ardingly College, UK.


A Pure Educational Legacy

Having decided upon the educational vision of the school we worked collaboratively with our colleagues at ACZS to design an inspiring school fit for future learning. We are sure you will agree that the outcome is fantastic, with a safe environment and exceptional facilities which will help prepare students across all age ranges to be ‘World Ready.’

From the details on landscaping to the internal fixtures and fittings, everything has been paid a great deal of attention and Ardingly College Zhongshan is a truly inspiring place to grow, learn and work. We are very grateful for the hard work of the design and construction team for realising this vision of Ardingly.

One feature we wanted to incorporate within the building was something similar to the Archway at Ardingly College UK. This is a meeting place and special location at the heart of the college where students collaborate, discuss and learn together as they move around the school. We are very glad to see this feature included in a Chinese style within the design of ACZS. Come and see for yourself when you enter the main lobby. High quality education is not just about the experience in the classroom, but also includes the wider learning which takes place around the campus and on trips.

From the start of our collaboration, we have held regular meetings with the executive and operational team at Ardingly College Zhongshan. This has, of course, included discussions on the curriculum. We have intentionally brought the holistic education from Ardingly College, UK into Chinese National Curriculum of Ardingly College Zhongshan. Central to this is the well-being and support of each individual child. Pastoral care and holistic approaches to education are as important in the educational experience of students as the academic. Together they make for more resilient, engaged learners.

As the IB PYP has developed at ACZS(Kindergarten) and we have shared our expertise of the EYFS at Ardingly College, and the two overlap tremendously. As a school developing bilingual learners, ACZS Primary and Middle School students will of course follow the Chinese national curriculum during G1-9, but we are able to apply greater direction in the Kindergarten and International High School at ACZS.

The academic excellence of Ardingly College, UK is due in large part to a group of experienced educators. Our team delivering services at Ardingly College includes the Head of College, the Director of Education, and the EAL/Primary International assistant. The team will grow next year to focus on other services which we will explain in the next post.


Through this team we are delivering exceptional support for ACZS in all aspects of education. We have shared over 100 polices and this has enabled the ACZS Senior Leadership Team to understand how we deliver quality education at Ardingly College UK.

Like Ardingly College, UK, Before the start of each academic year staff are inducted so as to understand the history and ethos of ACUK, and we are delivering a wide range of services to ACZS to support and enable the best possible Ardingly education at the school.


One example of this is in the College Counselling programme at the International High School. Next academic year, as G10 students enrol in ACZS, we will provide specific training to ACZS teachers on all aspects of applications to university, so as to enable students at ACZS to gain the best possible college entries.  We have designed this programme already and look forward to delivering it next academic year.

Our relationship with ACZS is strong and long-term, and we look forward to learning from ACZS as well as giving our expertise to the ACZS team. The journey to the top of a tall mountain begins with one step, and we have already taken many steps together.
