We are proud to deliver a high-end private bilingual school offering a 15-year consistent educational pathway for families in Zhongshan and the Greater Bay Area.
With a total investment of RMB 1.2 billion, the school is located in Qijiang New Town of Zhongshan, the geometric hinterland of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, radiating to the cities of Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Shenzhen and Macao. The campus will be built on a 65,000 square metre site with 130,000 square metres of floor space, relying on its prime location and integrating with the sustainable development of the community. When it opens in September this year, ACZS will offer a complete range of kindergarten, primary, middle and high school levels, with full boarding and day school options for students from kindergarten onwards.
The kindergarten will become an IB PYP school; the primary and middle schools plan to integrate inquiry-based teaching methods with the Chinese National Curriculum as the core, laying a solid foundation for multi-tracking in high school; the high school will be divided into the Gaokao and the International High School (IHS), and through the multi-tracking system of the future education pathway, the children will eventually be able to choose the Gaokao, A-Level, AP, HKDSE and even art education according to their own needs, and then apply for the 985 and 211 universities in China, or receive an olive branch from the world's famous universities.
In terms of class configuration, whether it is kindergarten, primary school, middle school or high school, ACZS insists on teaching in small classes. The school is configured to have no more than 30 students per class in compulsory and high school, and an average of 18 students per class in kindergarten, where every student will reap the benefits of a high-quality, personalised education.
As an IB PYP Candidate School approved by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), ACZS(Kindergarten) combines the best of both Chinese and Western education, and uses the IB PYP as the core framework for its curriculum design, providing children with enquiry-based, multidisciplinary learning through the integration of the six core elements.
Primary school fully embodies the organic fusion of Chinese and Western education, covers the core content of the national compulsory education curriculum, adopts an enquiry-based pedagogy, focuses on subject practice, fully mobilises learning motivation, and stimulates in-depth exploration of the subject by students.
The Middle School is committed to nurturing a new generation of learners with a Chinese soul and a global outlook through its unique "A+B+ Dual-Track Pathway" model, as well as its pedagogical features of adhering to a literacy-based approach, strengthening subject-based practices, promoting integrated learning, and implementing tailor-made teaching and learning.
