Dear families,

Last Saturday, SIS hosted a community screening of 'Resilience'. This insightful documentary explores the long-term effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). It reminds us of adults' critical roles in nurturing safe, healthy relationships with children in early life so that they can navigate and flourish when faced with difficulties later in life.

The post-screening panel discussion led by Secondary counsellors and divisional principals shared professional knowledge and experiences about the importance of wellness and wellbeing at SIS.

Post-pandemic, we've been fortunate enough to extend open invites to people beyond our immediate community, as it's vital to address and prevent childhood trauma.

上星期六，SIS主办了一场名为《韧性》的社群放映活动。这部纪录片深入剖析了不良童年经历（ACEs）的深远影响，让我们深刻认识到，成年人在孩子幼年时期建立起安全、健康的关系是多么的重要，这样孩子们在面对困境时才能勇敢前行，茁壮成长。

放映结束后，中学辅导员和中小学校长还主持了一场座谈会，分享了关于在SIS关注健康和幸福的重要性的专业知识及经验。

在疫情之后，我们感到非常庆幸，能够有更多机会向外界发出邀请。我们深知，解决和预防儿童创伤是我们必须关注的重要问题。我们希望通过这些活动，让更多人了解到儿童创伤的严重性，并共同努力。

The survey data shows that overall communication is a strength across the school. Thank you for recognizing this.

This data shows that some growth is needed in curricular information for Primary parents. This could be that primary parents don't know where to access this information or that more needs to be shared. This will be improved.

不过，对于小学家长而言，课程信息的沟通还有待加强。可能是因为小学家长不太清楚该从哪里获取这些信息，或者分享时有不到位。我们将针对这个问题进行改进。

We continue to search for the optimum time to host ParentEDUs. Overall, the attendance rate has continued to improve over the past year.

You will have noticed that all ParentEDUs are supported with real-time translation.

Thank you for the additional suggestions for future ParentEDUs. Some will be added to the calendar for this year and others for next year.
