Nursery rhymes are a part of children’s lives while they are growing up. Children use each flexible beating note and delicate rhymes writes a beautiful melody.

世界儿歌日是在1976年比利时国际诗歌会上创立的。每年春天到来之际，孩子们都会举行相应的活动进行庆祝。这项活动得到了联合国教科文组织的认可和支持，在1999年，每年的3月21日被正式确立为“世界儿歌日”。

World Children's Song Day was founded in 1976 at the International Poetry Conference in Belgium. Every year when Spring arrives, children will participate in activities to celebrate the event. The event was recognized and supported by UNESCO, and in 1999, 21st March was established as World Nursery Rhyme Day.

世界儿歌日旨在通过儿歌搭起各国儿童的友谊桥梁，传达和平与发展的理想，寓教于乐，充分发展少年儿童的才智个性和身心能力，并培养他们对传统文化、民族语言和价值的认同及对祖国文明的尊重与热爱。

World Children's Song Day aims to build a bridge of friendship between children of all countries through children's songs, to convey the ideal of peace and development, to teach through fun, and to fully develop children's intelligence, personality, as well as their physical and mental abilities. It also strives to cultivate their identification with their traditional culture, their national languages, and values, and to develop their respect and love for the civilization of their motherland.

The children of K1-1 sang with warmth and joy, singing sweet songs of peace and love while holding candles.

“Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue…”

从哪里传来这么欢乐的歌声呢？原来是K2的小朋友们！他们演唱的歌曲是一首荷兰民歌，这首歌被当地亲切地称为“纺车歌”，是一首寄托美好祝愿的歌曲。

Which children were singing songs so happily? Turns out it was the K2 kids. The song they sang is a Dutch folk song, which is affectionately known locally as the "Spinning wheel song". It’s a song of good wishes!

K3的孩子们为我们带来的一首来自非洲刚果的民歌。这是K3的小朋友第一次尝试“三声部”的合唱，他们的表现很不错！

The children of K3 brought us a folk song from the Congo in Africa. This is the first time the K3 kids have tried a three-part chorus. We think they're doing pretty well!
