At the primary school stage, CBFS takes the national curriculum standards as its core, integrating advanced international curriculum concepts and the IB curriculum framework to construct a diverse curriculum system that includes humanities and science, physical education and arts, and artificial intelligence, among others. This system comprises three main parts: core curriculum, inquiry curriculum, and featured curriculum. The inquiry-based curriculum is a UOI research-oriented course based on the core curriculum and integrated with the IB PYP curriculum framework.
