Humans have been here for at least 100,000 years, and the number one thing that defines us is our use of tools. Our first tool was language, and we used it to tell stories. Therefore, our stories define us as a species, and our cultures are produced by the stories we pass down. 

人类已经在这个星球上生活了至少10万年,而我们作为一个物种的最主要特征之一就是使用工具。我们的第一个工具是语言,我们用它来讲故事。因此,我们的故事定义了我们作为一个物种,而我们传承下来的故事构成了我们的文化。


Grade 5 students examined stories such as comics, myths and legends. One exciting way of showcasing and sharing a story is through motion pictures. We showed students a variety of examples of stop motion pictures. Students could create a stop motion picture using resources that they have at home. 

五年级学生研究了漫画、神话和传说等不同类型的故事。通过动态影像展示和分享故事是一种令人兴奋的方式。老师向学生展示了各种定格动画片段,并鼓励他们利用家中现有资源创作自己的定格动画片段。


They were tasked with creating a detailed story with a clear beginning, middle and end using any available resources. Students could include a description of what their stop motion was about. 

任务要求学生使用任何可用资源创作一个有清晰开头、中间和结尾部分并且详细完整的故事情节,并可以对其进行描述解释。
