经过了疫情期的辛苦等待,开学的日子终于要到来了。近日,随着江苏省发布了各级各类学校开学时间的通知,一时间,大家激动万分、奔走相告这个普天同庆的好消息。


家长们说:“终于要开学了,这个通知看得我老泪纵横。”

学生们说:“从来没有这么期盼开学,但确定开学日期后,又突然后悔了。”

老师们说:“总算不用做主播了,又能见到可爱的你们了。”


面对即将到来的开学,看来大家是处在既兴奋又矛盾的状态中。那么,我们到底该如何调适好自己的心理,以更积极的状态去迎接开学呢?海归中学部心理辅导老师何静特意分别为学生、家长和教师准备了一些开学前的心理调适小贴士。



给中学生的几点小贴士


1、提高认知、心存感恩


经过两个月的时间,经历了一开始的紧张焦虑,相信大家对新冠肺炎的认识与防护已经有了很多的了解。我们不但认识到人类的进化史本身就是不断和疾病斗争、共存的历史,认识到人与自然的和谐相处的重要性,也要认识到能开学就意味着我们在做好适当防护工作的情况下,生活能回归到正常了。我们还应认识到,疫情也是一次生命教育和感恩教育。在危难面前,每个人的生命都是那么弥足珍贵;也正是那么多“逆行者”的无私付出,才换来我们的安定。我们感恩别人的付出,我们更要珍惜我们来之不易的幸福。



2、调整心态、积极应对


开学遥遥无期时,我们翘首以盼;开学日期明确后,我们又对假期恋恋不舍。看似矛盾的心理,其实是我们面对环境转变所产生的一种正常的心理反应。但是如果我们把自己过度陷入这种矛盾心理中,又无益于我们回归到常规的学校模式。正如我们之前从学校学习转换到居家学习需要去调整适应一样,现在从居家学习回归到学校学习,同样需要调适心态。我们只有理性地接纳、面对、准备、投入开学准备,才会抛开无谓的假设或假想,及时调整心态,积极回归校园。



3、早做准备、积极行动


列出行动清单,让自己的开学准备更加井然有序:


- 生活作息和方式:制定一个和学校作息时间靠近的作息时间表,给自己几天的时间逐步调整。按时起床,不熬夜;适当运动,提高免疫力,抵御病毒入侵;不过度使用电子产品,每天主动及时“上缴入库”,逐步实现和学校对电子产品的管理要求保持一致。


- 作业查漏补缺:核查寒假作业和线上学习作业的完成情况,查漏补缺,保质保量完成作业。


- 学习装备到位:提前准备好学习用品,包括课本、文具、参考书等,也可置办一些需要的新装备,提升对开学的期待。


- 制定新目标:制定新学期的学习计划和目标,规划新学期个人提升的计划。


- 个人事务整理:开学前,给个人事务来个“大扫除”。整理书桌、清理房间、整理个人衣物,做一定的“断舍离”,也适当添置新的个人装备。在扫除灰尘垃圾的同时,我们的心理也经历一次舒畅的清理,以饱满的精神面貌迎接开学。



4、总结收获、展望美好


面对史上最长寒假、线上学习、线下社会交往暂停等一系列的变化,我们确实遇到了很多的挑战。但与此同时,我们也一定有很多的收获。把你在此过程中所思所想所感所为,试着通过文字、图片、照片等多种形式记录下来,与身边信任的人分享沟通。通过分享沟通,我们释放了压力,获得更多的理解和自我效能感,也更期待尽快和亲爱的老师和同学相逢在美丽的校园。




给中学家长们的几点小贴士

1、健康引导


目前苏州疫情已经基本得到控制,但我们的防护意识还不能松懈。利用开学前这段时间,家长可以和孩子探讨如何做好个人卫生,如何在公共场所做好自身防护,如何不给别人增加防护负担。


2、鼓励为主


中学部的孩子已经具备一定的自我管理能力,面对开学,一方面,家长应给予孩子充分的信任,不必事必躬亲为孩子准备好一切,要以鼓励孩子自己规划和准备为主;另一方面,如果孩子有实际需求或困难,我们也应该给予适当的协助和提醒。当孩子出现明显的紧张焦虑情绪时,我们还要耐心与之沟通,必要时寻求专业人员的帮助。



3、亲身示范


父母的榜样作用对孩子的成长是潜移默化的。在开学前的调整阶段,家长也应该调整自己的生活方式,给孩子做好示范。比如,作息时间规律,不熬夜;减少手机的使用频率;多和家人沟通;带着孩子做一些运动或家务。增强孩子和现实的连结,也增加亲子间的沟通和理解。


4、照顾自己


假期超长待机,家长们不但要考虑饮食起居,还要担心小神兽们的身心健康和学业状态,有时还要和他们斗智斗勇,情绪也跟着起起落落,大家都很辛苦。所以,家长们在忙碌的同时,更要照顾好自己,让自己保持身体健康,也保持情绪的稳定。保持自己身心健康的同时,也给孩子创设一个安全的心理环境。




给中学教师们的几点小贴士


1、及时总结


线上教学实施的过程中,我们一定碰到了很多挑战,但也会有很多收获。及时总结这一教学方式的优势,考虑如何利用它的优势部分为常规课堂服务,同时,及时总结反馈学生在线上学习中表现出的不同以往的优势,开学后因势利导,鼓励学生继续发挥自身优势,增强学生的学业自信。


2、充分准备


假期进入倒计时,罗列核检开学清单:包括工作完成情况、自我提升计划完成情况、新学期计划、家庭事务安排、出行回校计划、是否需要预留足够的隔离时间等。充分准备,信心满满地迎接开学。


3、调整情绪


非常规的主播生活终于要结束了,我们即将走进熟悉的课堂了,大家在迎来曙光的同时,还要多关注自己的情绪,多与身边的朋友、同事和家人沟通分享这一段时间的经历,放下压力、调整状态、轻装上阵。积极期待和同事们的相见,积极展望迎接归笼的神兽们吧。

With the news on the starting time for the new semester, students, parents and teachers are all quite excited about it. At the same time, they have some worries of their own. How to prepare for being back to school after the long-period homestay life because of the Covid-19? Here are some tips for the Secondary students, parents and teachers.



Tips for Secondary students


1. Active Cognitions


With two months of hard work against the Novel coronavirus, many of us must have gained a lot of understanding of the virus itself and know much about how to keep ourselves safe. Besides, we should realize that the evolutionary history of human beings is also a history of constant struggle and coexistence with diseases. We should also realize the importance of harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature. The start of school means that we can return to normal life under the condition of proper protection to ourselves. We should recognize that the epidemic is also a life education and gratitude education. Facing the crisis, everyone's life is so precious. It is the selfless efforts of so many heroes that bring us safety and stability. We are grateful for efforts of others, and we should cherish our happiness as well.



2. Active Emotions


We look forward to the starting of new semester when it is far away, and refuse to face the starting date when it is settled. The obviously contradictory feeling is a kind of normal response to the change of environment. But if we excessively involve ourselves in this feeling, it will be no good for us to return to the normal school life. Only when we put aside meaningless assumptions and rationally accept and face the reality, we will stay calm and be well-prepared for returning to campus.



3. Positive Actions


Make a to-do list:      

    

- Adjust your timetable and lifestyle. Work out a timetable close to the school’s, and finish adjusting within a few days gradually. Get up on time; don't stay up late; do some physical exercises to improve immunity and reduce the risk of being sick; don't overuse electronic products and take the initiatives to hand them in to your parents in time every day.


- Check your homework. Check your homework for the winter holiday and the on-line learning. Complete them 2-3 days before the semester starts.

- Prepare school supplies. Check and prepare textbooks, stationeries, reference books, and other necessary materials.


- Set up goals for the new semester and make new plan for learning and personal improvement.


- Personal affairs sorting out. Do a “clean-up” for yourself. Tidy up the desk, clean up your room, sort through drawers and give away unwanted knickknacks and clothing. While doing this, we have experienced a comfortable mental cleaning to ourselves.



4. Summary and Expectation


During this longest winter vacation, we encountered challenges because of a series of changes in our life. At the same time, we must have gained a lot. Try to summarize and record them in different ways such as writing articles, making drawings, taking photos or videos, etc., and share them with your friends. Through communication, we release pressure and get more understanding from others. We become more confident for being back to the campus.




Tips for Secondary Parents

1.Instructions on Health


At present, the epidemic in Suzhou has been brought under control, but we still should pay much attention to self-protection. During the period before backing, parents can discuss with their children about how to improve personal health consciousness, develop good habits and form healthy lifestyle. How to do self-protection and not to increase others’ protection pressure in public places.


2. Encouragement


Secondary students have certain self-management ability already. On one hand, parents should give their children full trust in preparation work and do not have to do everything for them. Parents are suggested to encourage the children to prepare by themselves. On the other hand, if they have actual difficulties, we could provide appropriate assistance and support. When children have obvious anxiety and high tension, we need to communicate with them patiently and seek for professional support if necessary.



3. Being a good example


What the parents act will be an imperceptible example for their children. To encourage the children, parents should also adjust their own way of life and give their children a good demonstration. Set a reasonable timetable; do not stay up late; reduce the frequency of mobile phone use; communicate with family more; and do some physical exercises or housework together with children. Strengthen the connection between children and the real environment, and improve mutual understanding between parents and children.


4. Health & Wellbeing


During the past two months, parents are very busy in balancing life, work and their children. Therefore, parents should take good care of themselves. While keeping physical health, they also need care about the mental and emotional wellbeing, which is good for the children as well.




Tips for Secondary Teachers


1. Reflection


Online teaching is a good attempt during the special period. While facing many challenges, we must have accomplished a lot as well. Summarize and reflect the advantages of online teaching and consider how to combine it with the regular teaching and how to encourage students to keep their academic confidence in real classroom.

 

2. Preparation


Make a check list, including completion of work, completion of self-improvement plan, new semester plan, family affairs arrangement, travel plan, self-isolation plan, etc. Fully prepared for being back to school.

3. Health & Wellbeing


Teachers must also have faced much pressure and anxiety during the past two months. Now it is the time to balance your work and life. Keeping physical health and care about the mental and emotional wellbeing. Communicate more with your friends and family, reduce your pressure and look forward to meeting with the lovely students and colleagues very soon.
