时光飞逝，又是一年毕业季，又有一批学子即将离开校园，到更高的学府中深造。6月29日下午，徐州华顿国际学校国际高中部隆重举行了2021届毕业生的毕业典礼。学校领导、家长、老师、全体毕业生以及国际高中部全体学生均参加了这次活动，以不同的方式为毕业生送去祝福。
On the afternoon of June 29th, the International High School held a graduation for the Cohort of 2021, grade 12 students. School leaders, parents, teachers, and of course high school students attended the event to show their support for the students.
毕业典礼在轻松、愉快的氛围中进行。典礼正式开始前，身穿礼服的领导、家长、老师以及同学们走上红毯，穿过拱门，并在签名板上留下自己的美好祝愿。四位主持人专业、幽默的话语给大家带来阵阵欢笑。
The event began by all participants walking down the catwalk to sign their names and take their seats, ready for the spectacle to begin. The mood was light, upbeat, and full of anticipation. Everyone was dressed to impress, not least of all our wonderful hosts-a representation of grade 10, 11 and 12 students from the department. The hosts were professional, humourous and set the tone for the whole event.
姚总校长鼓舞人心的讲话拉开了毕业典礼的序幕，字里行间表达了对毕业生的鼓励以及对他们努力的肯定。接下来，国际高中部徐琳主任（亦是12年级班主任）以及外教主管David老师分别表达了对毕业生的祝福，并回顾了过去三年同学们在华顿的学习生活。
The first matter at hand was a speech by Walton Principal Mr. Yao, who delivered an inspirational speech to encourage students and thank them for their efforts. Then followed High School Director and longstanding homeroom teacher of grade 12, Julie Xu, and foreign Director David, both passed on their congratulations and best wishes, as well as take a trip through memory lane of the last 3 years study in Walton.
在节目开始之前，同学们从姚总校长手中接过毕业证书，这给他们的高中生活画上了一个圆满的句号，台下的家长也纷纷上台与同学们合影留念，共同迎接这个令人自豪的时刻。王浩同学的父亲以及高三毕业生姜凝分别代表毕业生家长及毕业生，为即将开启全新生活的毕业生们送去了叮咛与祝福。最后由王浩代表全体毕业生为学校送来锦旗和树苗，象征着这些年来毕业生们的成长和发展。
Before the performances began, students were issued with their all-important graduation certificates in a formal ceremony. Parents looked on and took pictures altogether with proud smiles. On behalf of the students Coco (Jiang Ning) & parents, Morris’ (Wang Hao) Father, gave two riveting and thoughtful speeches to the graduates. Next was a surprise presentation of a lovely tree donated to the school by Morris (Wang Hao), symbolizing the graduates’ growth and development over the years.
接下来是一年一度的生日庆祝活动，全场所有人为6月份出生的同学唱响生日歌，全场气氛到达高潮。接下来，同学们准备了一系列节目来展示自己的才华，也为毕业生们三年的高中之旅画上了真正的句号。最后，老师们也参与其中。外教Thomas老师在David老师的吉他伴奏下，娴熟地演唱歌曲。最后，庞振老师用一曲《飞得更高》给此次毕业典礼画上句号。
Next up was the annual birthday celebration- all students, parents and teachers born in June were presented with large birthday cakes as everyone sang and celebrated. This wasn’t the last of the singing, as the students had prepared a serious of programmes to show off their talents and really put a creative stamp on the end of the students’ 3-year journey. Last of all the teachers also got involved. The penultimate act was a song expertly sung by foreign teacher Thomas accompanied by David on guitar. Then the moment all students old and new had been waiting for Mr. Peng impressed everyone with his vocal talents singing his own rendition of a Chinese classic, in which everyone and sang along and cheered.
毕业典礼，这是一个感人和快乐的时刻，每个人参与其中，并为2021届毕业生送去祝福。大家都度过了一段美好的时光，我们衷心祝愿12年级的同学们在新的一段旅程中一切顺利。他们的努力得到了回报，我们相信，他们会在各自的大学有一个全新的开始。徐州华顿国际学校很自豪地迎来了又一批毕业生，他们已经准备好迎接世界的挑战!
All in all, it was a moving and joyous occasion for everyone involved; and a very encouraging send off for our cohort of 2021. A great time was had by all, and we sincerely wish all the best to our grade 12 students in the next leg of their journey. Their hard work paid off and they are all off to a good start in their respective university. Walton International School is proud to have yet another graduating group of students move through the school, ready to take on the world!
