The Parent-Teacher Conference（PTC）presents an excellent opportunity to find out how your child is doing in school and to get to know his/her teachers. It is an opportunity to build trust and understanding between the home and the school. To help parents fully understand their children's high school learning needs, the IHS division held the online midterm three-way video conference on November 12, 2021.

家校交流会（PTC）是了解您的孩子在学校的表现和认识他/她的老师的绝佳机会。这也是一个建立家庭和学校之间相互信任和理解的机会。新学期过半，为帮助家长全面了解孩子对高中学习的适应情况及未来的努力方向，IHS高中部于2021年11月12日召开了线上三方视频会谈。

There was so much to talk about after a month of online classes and restricted entry into campus. Most importantly, parents were keen to meet their children’s teachers face to face online and get to know them.

因为经历了之前一个月的网课学习和封闭期，我们有太多的话题可以交流。最重要的是，家长们期望与孩子们的老师在线面对面交流并互相了解。

The subject teachers presented students achievement on their courses and made suggestions on learning through one-on-one talks with parents. Moreover, making a comprehensive analysis of the mid-term examination is helpful for students’ reflection on their learning. The IHS-division helps students through daily observation and feedback on the students' learning situation. The subject teachers spoke with the parents about their children's academic progress and performance, giving them a big picture of how their children are doing in school.

学生家长们约见了各个学科教师进行一对一在线面谈IHS高中部各科教师对开学以来学生学习情况进行了总结，并对期中考试成绩进行了解读。学科老师们对学生前一阶段的学科学习情况进行系统分析及沟通，并提出了具体建议。家长会中，IHS高中部教师就学生的学习态度、课程内容、考试和作业完成情况与家长沟通，让家长全面了解学生的课堂表现，并挖掘学生的潜能和努力方向。

At the same time, helping the parents to build a supportive partnership with the school and provide the teachers with important information about the students. Parents also discussed their children's progress and how they can work together with the teachers to ensure a successful year. 

与此同时，家长也根据自己对孩子的期望，向老师提出他们的想法。家校携手，切实解决问题，真正为孩子找到个性化的学习提升路径。

During the online PTC, homeroom teachers and college counselors also communicated with parents on how to best support the students to achieve their long-term goals and how to set up a detailed roadmap for their upcoming school years.

在线家长会上，班主任与升学指导老师也与家长就如何更好地帮助孩子实现长远目标、如何为孩子接下来的学习生活设定总体规划进行了深入交流，共商良策。

At IHS, educating children is a three-way handshake, and we are delighted that you are once again a presence online in these pandemic-induced times. We communicate openly about the growth of the most important people in school – your children. This is a precious and heart-warming gathering. Thank you for your participation!
