本次家长开放日活动，向家长全面展示了同学们在校园的生活。在课堂上，每一位老师都充满激情，运用不同的教学方法调动学生的主动性、积极性，每一位家长都专注听着老师的讲解，关注同学们学习的每一个细节，不时掏出手机记录下课堂的精彩瞬间。同学们都感受到来自家长的关注，课堂上积极思考，大胆发言，课堂状态十分融洽。

This Parents’ Open Day fully showcased the students’ campus life to parents. During the open classes, every teacher was full of passion and used a variety of teaching methods to enhance students' initiative, and enthusiasm in their lessons. Meanwhile, every parent was focused on the teacher's explanation, paid attention to every detail of students' learning and took pictures to record the wonderful classroom moments. Students felt the attention and support from their parents and thrived in the learning activities.

接着，国际高中部主任徐琳老师、外教主管David老师以及班主任董冬梅老师对开学以来学校的工作、班级活动以及同学们的在校表现，向家长们做了详细的汇报，并指出学生在学习中存在的一些问题，给予了家长一些具体的、有针对性的建议，同时也就学校管理方面向家长征求了一些意见和建议。

Then, the director of the International High School Department, Xu Lin, Foreign Director, David, and homeroom teacher, Dong Dongmei gave a detailed report to parents on school work, class activities and students' performance. These times of reflection are beneficial to students and teachers so that they can re-double their efforts and make as much progress as possible. Last but not least, parents were not only given some specific, targeted advice, but also the opportunity to discuss, ask questions, and suggestions on school management.

家长开放日活动在同学们的表演中达到高潮。高二高三的同学代表以及高一的全体同学，为大家带来的精彩的表演。家长们在同学们的表演中感受到了大家的青春活力，感受到了同学们满满的感恩之情。与此同时，历届华顿毕业生代表也向大家送来了祝福与期待。

The Parents' Open Day activities culminated in the performances of classmates. The representatives from G11&12 as well as all G10 students brought us wonderful performances. Parents felt the passion of the young adults performing and also their gratitude. A final surprise was presented in the form of a video from Walton Alumni who sent their blessings and expectations to students.

本学期已经过去一大半，同学们在各个方面都取得进步。老师们为同学们颁发奖状，肯定了同学们在各个方面的表现以及对集体的付出，并对同学们提出了更高的期望，希望同学们能够在接下来的时间里继续努力，取得更大的进步。

We are already in the last stretch of the semester, and students have made much progress in all aspects. So, teachers presented pupils with awards to affirm their performance and their achievements. This was a great opportunity to celebrate success and inspire the student body to continue working hard in order to surpass their teachers and parents’ expectations.
