2022年的钟声即将敲响，时光的年轮又向前迈进了一步，本学期也即将接近尾声。为了增强同学们彼此之间的默契与团队协作能力，使同学们暂时从紧张的学习氛围中暂时脱离，卸下平日学习上与生活中的压力，国际高中部于12月24日组织全体同学开展了团建活动。

The bells of 2022 are about to ring, time is marching on as we approach the end of the semester. In order to reinforce bonds amongst the student body and help the students relieve the pressure of daily learning and life, the International High School div organized team-building activities on December 24.

此次团建活动分为美食制作与趣味运动会两部分。每位同学都可以选择自己擅长的项目参与到活动中来。这是一个不断提升学生的艺术素养和综合素质的综合性平台。学校力争让这个平台成为同学们学习、成长、发展特长的乐园，让学生在特色活动的大乐园里展现风采。

The team-building activity was divided into two parts: cooking and fun games. Each student was able to participate in the various activities and develop a new set of skills. This was a comprehensive platform for continuously improving students' artistic literacy and comprehensive abilities. The school strives to make department a beacon for growth and development, so that students can show and build upon their talents

24日一早，在外教老师David及Thom的带领下，国际高中高一高二全体同学参与到美食制作环节。进入厨房前，老师们先向同学们介绍了制作饼干以及火鸡的步骤，让同学们在动手的同时，也学到一些知识。同学们被分成不同的小组，分别负责不同的步骤。他们有的揉面团，有的洗菜，有的切菜，有的给鸡“按摩”，有的不停地跑来跑去给大家递上所有需要的东西，大家互相配合，只为了给老师和同学们呈现一顿美味的大餐。

On the morning of the 24th, under the leadership of foreign teachers David and Thom, all the students in the international high school got the opportunity to try their hand at cooking. Before entering the kitchen, the students were given recipes for biscuits and roast turkey, so that the students could not only practice their English but also their critical thinking skills. Students were divided into different groups and responsible for different steps. Some of them kneaded dough, some washed vegetables, some cut vegetables, some prepared the chickens, some kept running around to hand everyone all the things they needed, and everyone cooperated with each other. The process culminated in a delicious meal to present to their teachers and classmates.

24日下午，国际高中部全体同学在体育馆举行了趣味十足又紧张激烈的运动会。本次趣味运动会分为拔河、乒乓球颠球接力、投篮以及跳大绳四个项目。同学们随机被分成四个小组参加比赛，每组的同学们喊着同一个口号，迈着统一步伐，怀着同一个目标冲向终点。小组间的竞争十分激烈，同学们的潜能不断被激发，掌声此起彼伏。各组的选手们发挥稳定、配合默契，为各自的组做出了最大的贡献。经过激烈的角逐，最终，一等奖由第二组斩获，二等奖、三等奖分别由第一组、第三组以及第四组获得。

After a hearty meal, all the students took part in a fun and intense sports meeting in the gymnasium. The events were divided into four sports: tug-of-war, table tennis relay, shooting and team skipping. The students were randomly divided into four groups to participate in the competition, and the students in each group cheered each other on, worked together, and rushed to the finish line to try and be the best. The competition between the groups was fierce, and the potential of the students was constantly on display, as the applause rose and fell. The participants in each group all made a great contribution to their respective groups. After the dust settled, the first prize was won by the Group B, the second prize was awarded to Group A, and Groups C & D took joint 3rd place.

同学们在本次团建活动中卸下平日里学习和生活上的压力，身体得到锻炼，心情得到放松。此次活动，全体同学共同参与到活动中，增强彼此间的情感交流和团队协作能力，给同学搭建了一个展示才华、增进友谊、磨练意志的舞台，使国际高中部成为一个更具有凝聚力的大家庭！

In this team building activity, the students unloaded the pressure of study and life, and they left the activity with a relaxed mood. During the process, all students participated in the activity, enhanced their emotional communication, teamwork skills, and had an opportunity to show their talents, enhance friendship, and hone their will and abilities. In the future we hope to provide more excellent chances for students in the International High School to learn more practical life-skills and become a more cohesive family!
