to study Chemistry
"These books gave me an insight into how chemists think, which helped me succeed in my interview at Oxford University."
Among our new high achievers, Simon W impressed Oxford with his keen interest in chemistry and his tenacity to study. During his years at Harrow Beijing, Simon W immersed himself amidst specialised books, such as Zumdahl's Chemical Principles, Atkin's Physical Chemistry, and Weller's Inorganic Chemistry. The newfound knowledge unlocked his strong interest in chemistry, deepen his understanding of chemists’ mindsets, and ultimately paved his way to Oxford University.

Received an offer from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) to study illustration
"Every day at Harrow is a highlight for me because of my friends and teachers." A-Level studies weren't just arts-focused for Brightly S; she found immense inspiration from subjects like Geography and Theatre.
For six years in Harrow Shanghai, Brightly packed her timetables with numerous extracurricular activities. She was seated amidst the school orchestra, while her presence also graced the school choir and student council. She also received gold and bronze trophies at the Duke of Edinburg Award ceremony and left the stage with horizons broadened and confidence heightened.

"The opportunities for scientific practice at Harrow are exactly what is needed for further study at university." Midori's parents praised about her participation in Harrow's Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
In this project, Midori researched the discipline of interest in-depth and finished a thesis, field research or presentation. Midori completed the project with a 6,000-word essay and presented her research results to teachers and classmates, allowing her to exercise university-level academic research skills.

Pam had many roles during her Harrow Bangkok years. She co-founded the school's historical society, represented the Model United Nations, and was the spokesperson of the debate club.
