Nick Nightingale校长是一位有着21年国际学校办学经验的教育家,持有英国教育学硕士学位、荣誉文学学士学位,并具备英国海外学校(BSO)一级和二级认证官资格。


拥有丰富国际化教育及管理经验的Nick校长,对国际化课程及未来大学申请有着深刻且独特的理解。Nick校长作为“北京四大传奇名校之一”北京市十一学校的国际部校长兼A-Level课程负责人,在长达9年的任期内输送了一批批学子进入了包括牛津、剑桥、康奈尔等各大世界级学府。

凭借着出众的管理能力和独特的国际化办学经验,Nick校长随后加入了承袭英国“九大公学”之一查特豪斯公学教育基因的深圳查特豪斯书院,担任其学术副校长及创校核心成员,为学校的筹建作出了显著的贡献。


作为一名对教育充满热情并且以结果为导向的领导者,Nick校长过去通过构建和实施极具创新性的课程体系,成功帮助每一位学生解决学术和人际交往的难题。他不仅以培养学生的学习热情为教学核心,更是通过自己多年积累的独特教育心得帮助学子们充分激发自身的潜力。

亲爱的家长与学生,


大家好,我是中山阿丁莱国际融合中学部的外方校长Nick Nightingale,非常荣幸能以书信的方式迎来与大家的首次见面!


在致以诚挚问候的同时,也允许我为大家介绍中山阿丁莱国际融合中学部的国际融合高中,以及我们如何通过独特且个性化的升学通路和多元且高品质的课程体系,带领学生们由此走向世界、圆梦心仪名校。


作为世界顶尖教育院校之一,英国阿丁莱学院为世界所赞誉的是其为学子提供严谨且优质的学术挑战,以此帮助学生为进入世界一流大学而做好充分准备。而作为承袭其顶尖教育基因的学校,中山阿丁莱也由经验丰富的教育专家组成了优秀的师资队伍,通过以学生为中心、基于探究的教学方法,提供与阿丁莱学院一致水平的高品质教育。以此为培养目标的毕业生具有高水平的批判性思维,出色的人际交往能力,以及具备成为全球公民和行业领袖所需的经验和自信心。

经过一段时间的学习旅程,来到G10第二学期的学生们可以从A-Level、AP或HKDSE(香港中学文凭考试)中选择各自的升学通路,以及他们想在G11-12(高二-高三)学习的具体课程。无论学生是计划申请英美等国外名校,又或是仍然选择就读中国大学,不同升学通路下都涵盖着多项学科、同样充分的全球大学入学准备,以及学生未来所选职业的学习需求包括数学、科学、人文和表演艺术。通过为学生提供多种课程选择,能够使他们能在专注理想学业深造之余,完成大学专业又或是未来职业的互通互融。

As an innovative school with a strong international focus and fusion of Chinese and Western education, Ardingly College Zhongshan has been searching since its inception for top educational management talent from around the world with forward-looking vision and highest standards. At the end of 2022, the Upper School, Ardingly College Zhongshan welcomed a highly experienced international education specialist with outstanding achievements. As a leader who will drive the Upper School to exceed, he will not only create a world-class educational environment for students, but also establish a strong foundation for the Upper School, which is the most challenging segment of Ardingly College Zhongshan.

Mr. Nick Nightingale


Principal Nick Nightingale is an educator with 21 years of experience running international schools. He values life-long learning and has a Master of Education from the UK, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons), and is qualified Level 1 and 2 School Inspector for British Schools Overseas (BSO).


With extensive experience in international education and management, Principal Nick has a deep and unique understanding of international high schools and university applications. After joining Beijing National Day School, one of the four famous schools in Beijing, as Centre Principal and A-Level Programme Director, Principal Nick worked there for 9 years, sending students to the world's best schools, including Oxford, Cambridge, Cornell, and other top universities.

With his outstanding management skills and unique international experience, Principal Nick has served as Deputy Head (Academic) and a core member of the founding team of Charterhouse College, Shenzhen, inheriting the educational genes of Charterhouse, one of the "Nine Public Schools" in UK.


A dynamic result orientated leader with proven success in developing and implementing creative curricula that address the academic ability and interpersonal skills of every student, Nick is committed to inculcating a passion for learning and empowering students to succeed and realise their individual potential.


We believe that such a veteran leader with extensive practical experience and excellent management skills will support Ardingly College Zhongshan to become an innovative world-class school.

Dear Parents and Students,


Hello, I am Nick Nightingale, International Head of Upper School at Ardingly College Zhongshan (ACZS), and I am delighted to greet you for the first time with this letter.


Along with my warmest welcome to you, let me also introduce our International High School with its unique individualised learning pathways and extensive range of high-quality courses available to students.


When it comes to international education, we can trace the educational genes and background of ACZS to our origin in the UK. As one of the world's leading schools, Ardingly College UK developed a worldwide reputation for providing learners with rigorous educational challenge in preparation for study in the world’s leading universities. As a school that inherits its educational genius from the UK, ACZS is founded with the very same standards of having an excellent faculty and curriculum, and it provides the same high-quality education as Ardingly College UK by promoting a student-centred, inquiry based pedagogical approach to teaching and learning. This produces graduates with high-order critical thinking, excellent interpersonal skills, and the necessary maturity and confidence to become global citizens and leaders of industry.

Meeting the needs of every student is an important aim of ACZS, therefore, students are afforded increasingly greater choice about what they learn during their time at the school. Upon successful entry into the International High School, students in G10 will complete a Foundation Year comprised of a broad range of courses from disciplines including science, language, humanities, performing arts, and sport alongside their core mathematics, English, and CNC courses. This robust integrated curriculum increases students’ exposure to different subject areas, expands their overall educational experience, and allows them the possibility to discover new interests and hidden talents in preparation for their learning pathway selection.


In the 2nd semester of G10, students will decide their own personal learning pathway choosing from A-Level, AP, or HKDSE together with specific courses they want to study at G11-12. Whether a student plans to attend university in the UK, USA, or China, the course offerings in each pathway cover multiple disciplines, worldwide university requirements, and learners’ career needs including mathematics, science, humanities, and performing arts. This provides greater efficiency in their senior high school education because students focus on what they want to learn for their university major or career. By offering learners more control over curriculum choices, students concentrate their efforts and attention on what they want to learn, thus providing more engagement and efficiency in their study.

Naturally, as a school dedicated to developing the international leaders of tomorrow, ACZS not only ensures that students have reached their academic potential, but also seeks to develop socially minded, environmentally aware, global thinkers. This is because we believe what students learn today will help them shape our future.  Therefore, enrichment opportunities to apply theory to address real world problems, chances to collaborate on international development projects, and forums to discuss issues from a global perspective all combine to provide the next generation with the necessary intellectual stimulus and learning environment to realise innovative, sustainable solutions to meet the world’s greatest challenges together.
